So usually whenever i try to sleep no matter what side of my head i lay on left,right or back it always feels uncomfortable and i always feel some sort of pressure build up in the area im laying on, ive already tried different pillows but i still get the pressure feeling and i notice when i lay down my ear ache starts to come on.

Trigger warning - non-suicidal self-injury (nssi) This is a very deep secret that I have never shared because I am ashamed, please be kind. I (F20) am high functioning autistic. After a long over stimulating day I always find myself coping/soothing by NSSI. I will dig a needle into my skin and pull up on it. I eventually end up creating a small hole in my skin. I will pull out my nerve ending’s, and anything else underneath the epidermis. I stop once I get near the bottom of my subcutaneous layer. I never go past my skin layers. I am fully aware that I am hurting myself and I feel the pain but I continue to do it and I don’t know why. I am not suicidal and I don’t do it as “self harm”. I feel very alone with this and it is a very scary feeling. I know this isn’t normal. Does anyone else struggle with this or could offer some insight as to what causes this behavior? Any ideas on how to stop and cope in a healthier way?

Last year during my period I started bleeding profusely, going through multiple super tampons and pads within an hour. I wasn’t experiencing any pain. I started feeling faint and drove myself to the ER. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. Over the past 2-3 months on the second day of my period I started to have the same issue. Bleeding profusely, bleeding through my clothes, going through multiple tampons. I’ve also been passing huge blood clots, the biggest I’ve passed so far was the size of my palm. It looked like someone got killed in my bathroom it was that extreme. I made an OBGYN appointment and my doctor shrugged it off, gave me the fastest exam of my life, and told me to go on birth control to manage it. Should I be worried about how heavy my period has become and all of the blood clots? I normally have an average 5 day long cycle.
For a little background on my medical history; I have endometriosis, I’ve gone through tubial litigation, cyst removal, and have had one ovary removed.
(pls ignore the clots being on the floor, I was trying to shower off and they just kept coming)

Hi, all! Dropping by to see if anyone has any recommendations for family law attorneys in Marin that have extensive experience in high conflict custody cases and parental alienation. Without going too in depth into my situation, my coparent is an extremely high conflict person who will fly off the handle frequently and her M.O is to engage in verbal abuse, gaslighting, and has violated significant parts of our order a number of times. When I do stand up for myself or try to enforce boundaries, the abuse gets worse until I wear down and have to give in to avoid the extreme stress of a prolonged fight. I try to keep a journal of the abuse and violations, but it’s become so common that it’s hard to keep up a record to detail to my current attorney, who is a push over. Her attorney is just as aggressive as she is and I’m just getting walked all over.
I’m really just looking for a bulldog attorney that doesn’t take shit, will stand up for me, and will help me counter the verbal and emotional abuse. Thanks!

Hi all,
I was diagnosed with Sjögren’s syndrome in early 2023 after years of taking Adderall for ADHD. Shortly after, I was also diagnosed with glaucoma, prediabetes, and high cholesterol. I later learned that Adderall can cause glaucoma and shares many symptoms with Sjögren’s. On top of that, some of these symptoms also overlap with menopause, and I am well past that stage.
I’m curious—how many others diagnosed with Sjögren’s also have ADHD, take Adderall, and or are post menopausal?
