Got the diagnosis for my dad today. Results show he is a double E4 carrier, so it has complicated the medication pathway in terms of what we consider next.
Today was a hard day. Cried a lot. He's only 71, that still feels so young.

2025.01.31 01:31 CharityIntelligent90 Bench Seat for 3 car seats?
We are a new family of 5. I currently drive a Ford Maverick pickup which I love but realize that there is no chance of getting a 3rd car seat in it so we are looking for a more family friendly SUV.
I am currently looking at the '25 Santa Fe Limited Hybrid as our next option but I am curious and concerned on the feasibility of 3 car seats across the second row. We have an infant and 2 toddlers (all 3yes or younger).
Our other vehicle is a Ford Expedition and it has captains chairs in the second row which makes loading all 3 kids up a real pain and kills our trunk space so that's why we are looking for a bench seated SUV that could comfortable fit 2 forward facing and 1 rear facing car seat.

 | Hey out there! So I am one of the folks who bought the kickstarter Othermill which later became Bantam tools. I won’t talk too much trash but the machine doesn’t actually work up to expectations and has been mothballed for years. It is fine for making single sided PCB but I design electronics for a living and as such have little use for its board making capability. Where it really let me down is in milling aluminum and presumably brass. It appears to lose step count and wander off much like my thoughts. At this time I would like to use it for such a purpose and am looking to modify it. I should say stock it came with a TinyG V8 non-ARM core board and they immediately upgraded the subsequent models to V9 ARM core boards and hence the code base left my model behind. I also note none of the wiring harnesses are shielded. The spindle motor is only using one oring drive belt vs the gen 2 double belts. I was thinking of upgrading their control board to an Acorn and if necessary the lead screws and steppers. I guess if the machine doesn’t fit my needs after that I could reuse the Acorn and build a larger more robust system. My questions are: 1) Is this a decent controller board option 2) Do I need the shield the individual stepper harnesses and any others? 3) Is opto-isolation needed when used near a RC motor ESC? submitted by HellaTightLines to hobbycnc [link] [comments] |

Im playing on pc with a ps4 controller and every time i have a prompt on screen that involves square or triangle i have to GUESS because for some reason they are inverted.
For example, when i can do a takedown it shows the command on screen as SQUARE plus CIRCLE, instead of triangle plus circle.
how do i fix this??

2025.01.31 01:31 WelcomingRadio This game was definately mismanaged, but the community's hard push for 1v1s didn't help either
The platform fighter community doesn't keep an open mind when it comes to new entries in the genre, everything has to Melee. If it's not Melee, they try to play it like Melee and end up dissapointed if it's trying to do something different.
In Multiversus' case, one of the core strengths that made it stand apart from the competition was it's focus on competitive 2v2s. It's faster paced, has more viable strategies/characters, actively punishes camping, even some moves on characters have additional abilities that only work in 2v2s. Subjective but it's actually a lot more fun too and a unique spin on the typical platform fighter.
However, whether it was content creation or the competitive scene, people just kept trying to play it like Melee and completely ignored what it was built around, so all people got to see was slow paced 1v1s. There wasn't even an attempt to give 2v2s a proper chance by the community, completely ignored.

Upon the helicopter crash that led to snakes “death” he would later re-awaken in a hospital after a coma, and despite nearly dying and being dead for years, after going through the fires of hell, he was pulled right back up, to live on once more as the legend known as big boss.
And when the day came that he would meet himself, would be his last. Upon one of his missions on the outer heaven he would learn too much, he would learn his status as a phantom. This perk deactivates when you start preforming any action or start sprinting.

Through your years of expertise you have learned CQC, you learned that your most deadly weapon is your very hands.
Being picked up off a window, pallet, or locker activates this perk. When this perk is active whilst in the healthy state your wiggle progress strength is increased by 80%/90%/100% every great wiggle skill check the killers movement speed is decreased by 4/8/12% if you miss or get a good wiggle skill check this perk deactivates.

2025.01.31 01:31 Tough_Ad_6806 I need help.. I can’t stop thinking about fantasies of being rich.
I can’t get away from it. I just want money like everyone else. But, this thought and obsession is literally driving me nuts. It’s worsening my mental health and I just need a better relationship with it.
Right now, I just see on Reddit and social media posts of people making soo much money on stocks or someone on Instagram just got a new Cadillac. I even went on LinkedIn, and found all the people from my high school with most of them making 6 figures a year. Shit id be happy with $80,000 a year.
I’m currently unemployed at 28. Dealing with mental health issues (depression and recovering from a psychosis episode that sent me to the hospital last year). And I’ll I can think about is hitting the lottery, just a million dollars.
It’s sad because I should probably get a normal job to start with, but I want to just have everything. Working these dead end jobs isn’t appealing to me. I don’t know if I’m just in some messed up mindset due to depression, but literally all I think about is having a million dollars. But guess what? I only have $7,000 to my name.
This is a thought that’s been driving me nuts. It turns into an obsession and I do nothing about it. It would make sense if I was trying to invent something or go to school for a better paying job, but I literally just sit here and think, “ahh wouldn’t it be nice just to be rich.” Or “It’ll happen someday” while I just sit and bed rot. I hardly have any social skills and have hated socializing due to my lack of thoughts from psychosis.
Idk what to do about it. I wish I could just who wants in front of me. It’s like my brain has been brainwashed to think I’ll only be happy if I have a million dollars. Any advice is welcomed to help me this thought. It literally makes me depressed, especially seeing people from high school succeed. I’m even getting jealous or envious of my friends who are getting great jobs.
TLDR; I’m currently facing an obsession of having a million dollars or just being rich, while I suffer with depression and bed rot. I hate this intrusive thought and it’s taking over my life.

Just recently after switching to a more stable high speed isp I have found myself rubberbanding constantly. I have always ran WiFi and never had issues with my previous isp. It’s almost getting to the point of being unplayable.. anybody have any suggestions or what to look into other than the typical plug in an Ethernet because that is not an option in my current state and as I have stated I have ran WiFi previously on the old isp and never had any issues with rubberbanding

I’m setting up an audio system for indoooutdoor. I want to be able to control volume or at the very least make it on or off for the outside when not in use. I’m getting klipsch aw-650 I believe. Want an amp/head unit that will do it justice and It’s mostly for bt playing, so if a transmitter has the ability to control by app that would be good too. But a simple head would also be good. I want something that will do justice to the klipsch but not too crazy expensive. I’m new to this. It’s for audio and bt. This aI bot is a pain in the ass.
