Which course is better in terms of job perspective? FYI: I don't have any background in manufacturing. Just feel like learning CIM would look good on my resume. But the course syllabus is tough. Too many assignments and projects. On the other hand, Human Factors seems like a chill subject. Just one research project and not too many assignments. Only issue is will this course help me get into any job field. Any advice or suggestions on this.would be greatly appreciated.

 | Did this kit after the RG 1.0 RX-78-2. Overall I think this kit is definitely more refreshing compared to the gundam design (due to the zeon design) and it was surprisingly more sturdy compared to the rx-78-2. The pipes were surprisingly easy to fix on. Only problems I felt were the articulation, extraordinary tiny thrusters (lost 2 due to skill issue) and the display connector. I just got an open box iphone 15 pro from bestbuy. It came bubble wrapped, non iphone cable and in a white box … not even inside the original iphone box. Is this normal? I didnt even take the bubble wrap off as i was disappointed.

Having a hard time deciding what to do. My mom and I decided at the end of 2024 to own a nail salon together. I’ve almost completed schooling for it, and my mom is expecting me to quit my job and work for a nail salon full time to gain more experience. The thing is I work at a pretty decent corporate job working from home but pay is so so. My plan was to work there while working at a nail salon on weekends, but my mom thinks it’s not worth it to do that and I should just go full on and work as a nail tech. I’m just worried that if this doesn’t pan out I’m out of a job with no income. I know with great risks come great rewards and I feel like this would be a huge risk. I don’t know if I’m just too scared and hard headed or if I am good to caution it. What are your thoughts?

Just needing abit of advice on how i could get into the trade.. preferably without having to do the pretrade course.. I'm a 28f with a work history of Retail and Finance wanting to do a switch into plumbing.
I've always been a bit of a "tutu or tinker" .. (I enjoy pulling things apart and fixing, joining and getting them work again.. faucets, drains, pipes, broken appliances) and while I looked into electrician.. Plumbing has always stood out for me.
But where do i start.. Do I start cold calling companies?( I've called up a few places but no luck). Do I need to do a pretrade? Is 28 too late? Are companies really more diverse as people say when taking on females?
Or if anyone knows of any plumbing companies in Hamilton willing to take on a No experienced but very committed, hardworking, willing to learn the trade individual 😀
Any advice is appreciated. 🙏

Moved into my house and after moving in, found that the neighbor uses the shed in their backyard to practice music. Electric guitar, drums, etc. Unfortunately the sound goes right through my walls and my bedroom and office are on the side of the house next to theirs. Have a 6' privacy fence between the two yards - looking for recommendations on shrubs to knock the noise level down. I know I'm not going to eliminate it, but if I can muffle it some more it would be a help.
Center of shed is 60' away from my bedroom, office is another 10' away.

Hey so recently reading a lot of your posts I can tell my situation is a little unique but I would appreciate some opinions I recently applied for benefits on Jan 10 2025. Literally three weeks ago. I received a call from a representative 5 days after applying asking a few work history questions they received most of my medical records electronically within a day. I see a psychiatrist monthly and a therapist weekly consistently since diagnosed in 2020 with BP and PTSD so I have consistent medical records. She informed me that I she would sent me a packet via mail with a bunch symptom related questions and work history. Which I received within a week and sent back immediately. Now coming up on day 20 she called me to confirm some info regarding my responses for work history and stated it was reviewed from the therapist on my case and is in the final step where it was sent to the field office for determination and I should receive a response within a week or two. My rep has been great on being responsive literally keeping me updated and I say it's unique because of how fast everything has been processed so I'm just curious if this seems to show good signs and any advice you have . This is my initial application also I'm located in PA. Thanks guys :)
