Hey folks, software engineer here who’s gone through this journey and I need your help. If there’s value for you, I’d maybe consider making a kidney stones app based on community needs.
Why? I think the current apps (IOS) for kidney stones and diet management are a little rough/could be better but want to hear from you all what you need most first, building a product without asking users what they need first is a little backwards of course :)
Some sample thoughts to help:
- What was difficult to learn about when you were diagnosed? Would an app have helped with any of this?
- learning about different stone types
- how to manage food / diet better, is there anything the existing apps aren’t giving
- educating family members / friends
- understanding the surgeries
- anything related to management or water intake that would have helped you?
Why don’t I have my own answers since I’ve been through this?
For wrong or right I’ve taken a different approach, I picked up Muay Thai, lost 30kg and eat clean and healthy and training forces me to drink 4l of water a day.
I’ve got stones still to pass again, 8mm+ scanned a year or two ago, I’m ignoring it until it’s a problem and just living the best I can until I have to deal with this again, so I don’t have answers to what would help me manage this, that’s why I need you all ❤️

2025.01.31 01:49 BaronGrivet Flashing Between Controller & Keyboard Hotkeys - Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord
I've recently started playing Bannerlord on my PC and am really enjoying it.
I prefer controller for 1st person/ 3rd person action and would really like to use my controller in battle.
But when playing the gaming the interface flashes between controller and keyboard hot keys. It's disconcerting and hard to work out how to use the orders during battle. The flashing can also interrupt selections and in general is hard to work around.
The game is running via Steam and my current controller is a GameSir Tarantula Pro. I have tried running the controller through Steam input and natively. Both have the same result.
Could it be that ambient input from the mouse is causing this?
Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a way to fix it?
Any tips on how to run a controller for combat in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord would be appreciated.

Hello , I made a email the other day about getting a claim started with logitech. Someone named Rowie initially replied to the email shortly after. Ofc i wasnt at my computer in time to respond that night but it was then transferred over to an email chain. Since then it has been nearly impossible to get anything done with Rowie as it takes more than a week to get him to respond to me. Keep in mind he has done nothing so far but Say im submitting things incorrectly. First i would like to point out that he gave me instructions to get a PDF for a receipt directly from microcenter which was entirely incorrect i even went as far as to screen record the entire thing. On top of that provide a picture of the original receipt from microcenter with all information and a letter next to it stating my name/date and HIS NAME. Since he has not responded and hasn't even gotten this claim started i am starting to get extremely agitated as it hasn't even been a month I've had the headset and its already in need of a warranty claim. Please let me know what information is needed and who i should get in contact with that will actually care enough to reply. Case # 14625018.
Previously with Astro I've had warranty claims started and processed within 2-3 days. This will be my second case with you guys, first involving your G pro headset which was ignored for a whole month before i finally just returned it to microcenter for a refund luckily they took it. Extremely dissatisfied so far with how anything has been handled regarding support for your products.

I have finished both a vo2 max and a sweet spot progression over the last 8 weeks. Everything I have read says that progressive overload is key to training. I was planning on restarting progressions but adding a threshold progression as well. Do you just keep adding more volume/ replacing easy rides with intensity? How can you maintain progressive overload for extended periods of time?

Of course I’d rather work a job I hate than not have one at all, but my mental health is taking a decline. It also doesn’t help that I’m the only black employee. I feel so powerless. And I’m caught between a rock and a hard place trying to find a new job. Is it just me or is no one hiring? I’m a bartender in New York City, it really shouldn’t fucking be this hard. I’ve been hearing about these “ghost jobs” I’ve probably applied to a hundred of without even knowing, and I find the concept just plain damn soul-crushing. I really, really need to leave my current job. Now.

Hi all,
So I have a question I’ve been unable to get a clear answer on. So my hubs and I goto Disney frequently and we were there this past weekend celebrating our 26th anniversary. That being said we were resort hopping and was talking to one of the DVC reps on the lobby. We were chatting and making small talk and we asked about a way to access DVC benefits such as annual passes etc since we come all the time and currently do not have an annual pass.
The kicker to all this is that we stay exclusively at Fort Wilderness in our Class A motorhome as we travel with our 200lb Neapolitan Mastiff, and DVC does not work at the Fort. So the DVC rep said that the only way they could see us being able to benefit would be to “be added to a contract as an add on”
Could anyone here help explain what they were talking about?
