I really need to know if this is fixable and would love any advice that anyone has found helpful.
Backstory: i'm 33f in 10 years relationship with my partner 43m. We love each other, work together, have a freat relationship otherwise. In a way, i feel like betraying my relationship a bit just sharing this with complete strangers but I really need some hope and maybe helpful points of view to get through this.
We almost never have sex. In the last 4-5 years maybe 3 times totally. I would go down on him once in while, because we both enjoy it, but I started to get petty about it and I don't have the same appeal to do it almost never anymore, it is mostly one sided. At the beginning is was better but i think not the best for both of us. I feel that he is completely lost all physical attraction to me. He is highly sensitive, both physically and emotionally, for good and for worse. Some touch is very irritating for him, and the body "map" changes, like something that fees good starts to feel bad or overwhelming quick. He doesn't like going down on me because of the smell and taste. Sometimes when i kiss him he will turn his head and present me his side and it feels like he is avoiding kissing me. We also both gained weight (not obese but not the same as we were before) and both are struggling with our image, depression and anxiety. I take meds and have teraphy. He feels very off putted by the idea of going to therapy himsef, but slowly changes his mind.
Sometimes i go crazy with the sadness, anger. Sometimes i bary this need so deep I don't feel it at allanymore. Sometimes im too sad to touch myself or even see sex scenes in movies. And sometimes i feel hopeful.
I know basicly that mostly this is about the dinamics between us. So, Couples therapy may work and also some medical exams.
What else is helpful?
How to better approach the "talk"? I'm very tense and avoiding talking about it because I always get overwhelmed and cry pretty quickly and pretty much nothing has come out of any talks about it.
Is there hope? If we feel loved and connected, can we fix it? Please tell me there is, i have no problem working on it. And I don't blame him, or even really mad at him. I just want to feel desired, and i miss him and sex so much. Is there a way to change? Are there anyone here who was able to come back?

2025.01.31 02:01 26verde_321 What's worse: APUSH or AP Euro
I'm taking AP Euro and it's hell on earth. So much reading, so time consuming, and so many tests with time limits. You can't half-ass your way through it. You gotta make conclusions and find connections on your own. If you aren't a good writer, you're cooked. If you have to take your sweet little time doing a test, you're cooked. It's kinda interesting but honestly it's so much 😭
As for APUSH, I heard online it was harder than Euro, but I can't imagine. Some of my friends are taking APUSH and seem to be fine. They say that the grading scale is more relaxed, there is less homework, and the questions aren't as hard. In fact, I haven't heard anyone complain about APUSH as much as they have about Euro.
Maybe it's just my school, but I just wanna see some insights.

My 2.5 week old doesn’t calm down for anyone else but me. It’s making me nervous for when my husband has to keep her when I go back to work. (I’m a bartender so I work nights). She’s EBF right now (I’ll pump so he can give her bottles soon). But she only calms down for me… he tries and she just screams. Will it get better by the time she’s 6/8 weeks??

I'll start of by saying this was a fun film, but depending on what kind ya view it as may change its quality
Lon Chaney Jr was fantastic as Larry, his quest to die so he can be free of the curse is so tragic. You really feel how much he wants to die, how he cant live with himself anymore and just wants it all the end so he can finally have peace
Bela Lugosi, honestly was weak as Frankenstein's monster, he just doesn't have the same pull and heart that Boris does when he plays as the monster. No tragedy with this one, he really is just a mindless brute
Mannering was another weak link, not that interesting and his sudden heel turns near the end made no sense
Elsa frankenstein while not the biggest role. I do give props for not being obsessed with the monster like her family was
As a wolf man film, its really solid and holds up well
as a Frankenstein film, it is very weak and not the best
So I say a nice medium for it is this. $ stars for both real life and Letterboxd. Cause all the wolf man parts really shine with this one
