A guy I met one time, who proclaimed to be an “expert”, thought it was an NCO sword from Baden. It does seem to share qualities with German NCO swords but I have not found anything with the same hand guard shape. I’m also assuming it’s post WW1, the handle looks like Bakelite. I feel like my life is over because I can’t get a girlfriend. I often see posts on Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram where women make fun of short men, saying they would never date one. Seeing this makes me feel like there’s no hope for me.
I don’t have any other goals in life besides getting a girlfriend, and if I can’t achieve that, what’s the point of anything else? While I’ve seen some women say they would date short men, I always notice them with taller guys instead. This makes me feel like they’re gaslighting me, and it frustrates me.
I don’t want to focus on self-improvement because I don’t believe it would change anything or help my situation. To me, future goals and aspirations feel meaningless without having a girlfriend. It’s the only thing I think about.
Is a girlfriend too much to ask for?

I’ve had horrible depression and anxiety all of life, but a particularly bad bout of depression hit me towards the end of 7th grade. I essentially dropped out of public school. I did online school and did miserably because nothing would keep me motivated. I then went to a half day alternative school for 8th grade and of course took no highschool credit classes. My schedule got all sorts of messed up by the counselors so my freshman year was just filled with whatever classes I could get shoved into. I’m now a sophomore with two years of PRE-AP english under my belt and I plan on moving up into AP Lang next year. I also plan on taking AP BIO and stats in my senior year. My schedule will be incredibly squishy with only 3 classes a day next year and senior year because I’ll be doing a half day program to get my CNA certification. Am I screwed by only having 3 AP classes? I want to go to a in-state university if that adds to anything.
TLDR: mental health screwed me over in middle school and i can only afford to fit 3 AP classes in my schedule. am i screwed?

I've know some Spanish (moved to a high Hispanic % area in US when I was 12 and took Spanish I & II in high school) and am getting back into it after 15 years. Could read fairly well but can barely hold a conversation if at all. I subscribed to Premium and have watched 12 hours in a week so far, sorted by Easy.
Do you guys think it's better to read the video titles and descriptions to get a better overview, or totally skip that and pay attention to the video? Maybe it doesn't matter...
P.S., If it's preferable not to, or a wash, I wish videos would stay fullscreen when watching a playlist!

Hey all! Sophomore in high school here! So I am at a point where I'm starting to think about where to go to college and I am just kind of stuck on a couple of questions I had. I'm planning to take a gap year when I graduate and then trying to get into Ohio State University the following year. The only questions I have are
1.) Is this a good state to be in? Considering Ohio state is pretty competitive?
2.) If I somehow fail my AP test in Spanish, how much will it hurt me?
For reference, here is a picture of my grades currently. My GPA so far is 3.84 on a 5.0 scale and 1st semester did have 1 C which was Algebra 2 with a 77 but overall it stayed relatively stagnant.
