With looming tariffs, growing wealth inequality, and the rise of hate I want to find ways to grow community and connection in the town that I live in. (Devon). One of the ways I thought about doing this was starting a non-partisan community group where we can connect and share skills, plan community garage sales or swaps, etc and it seems to have garnered lots of interest.
I am wondering two things:
- what are some ideas to build community and also help one another save money
- What is the best way to set this group up. Do I become a charity so that I can get grants and expand my net of helping people. Or do I just keep it as a grassroots initiative. If I am a charity I could get funding from government to help the community. Does that make me non-partisan still. And it appears to come with a lot more paperwork and I’m not really interested in that side of it at all.

Got my K1. It does print and etc.. Trying to connect it to my network. Thing is, I cant press the letter R for my password. It also doesn't press 5 (the same spot on the keyboard). Tried unplugging the screen and plugging it back in. Also factory reset it. Neither choice seemed to fix it. Any ideas?

 | Bought a new 4070ti super from Best Buy and just before putting it into my pc this part fell out of the GPU. I never snapped it off, was just moving the GPU. I’m no expert, but it barely looks like it was soldered. Is this something I should try to take to a PC repair shop or just go through the refund process with Best Buy? This app has been more buggy this week alone than I’ve ever experienced. It also shoots me to the very bottom of the comments every time I make one, sometimes taking several seconds to scroll past???? all the other comments??? Why is this happening. The videos also do not play unless I open full screen, close full screen (which is black and silent), and press the play button that didn’t exist before. So tedious and annoying.
