I’ve had horrible depression and anxiety all of life, but a particularly bad bout of depression hit me towards the end of 7th grade. I essentially dropped out of public school. I did online school and did miserably because nothing would keep me motivated. I then went to a half day alternative school for 8th grade and of course took no highschool credit classes. My schedule got all sorts of messed up by the counselors so my freshman year was just filled with whatever classes I could get shoved into. I’m now a sophomore with two years of PRE-AP english under my belt and I plan on moving up into AP Lang next year. I also plan on taking AP BIO and stats in my senior year. My schedule will be incredibly squishy with only 3 classes a day next year and senior year because I’ll be doing a half day program to get my CNA certification. Am I screwed by only having 3 AP classes? I want to go to a in-state university if that adds to anything.
TLDR: mental health screwed me over in middle school and i can only afford to fit 3 AP classes in my schedule. am i screwed?

2025.01.31 02:30 SKITTLE_LA Should we read DS titles & descriptions, or only watch video?
I've know some Spanish (moved to a high Hispanic % area in US when I was 12 and took Spanish I & II in high school) and am getting back into it after 15 years. Could read fairly well but can barely hold a conversation if at all. I subscribed to Premium and have watched 12 hours in a week so far, sorted by Easy.
Do you guys think it's better to read the video titles and descriptions to get a better overview, or totally skip that and pay attention to the video? Maybe it doesn't matter...
P.S., If it's preferable not to, or a wash, I wish videos would stay fullscreen when watching a playlist!

Hey all! Sophomore in high school here! So I am at a point where I'm starting to think about where to go to college and I am just kind of stuck on a couple of questions I had. I'm planning to take a gap year when I graduate and then trying to get into Ohio State University the following year. The only questions I have are
1.) Is this a good state to be in? Considering Ohio state is pretty competitive?
2.) If I somehow fail my AP test in Spanish, how much will it hurt me?
For reference, here is a picture of my grades currently. My GPA so far is 3.84 on a 5.0 scale and 1st semester did have 1 C which was Algebra 2 with a 77 but overall it stayed relatively stagnant.

I have a long layover at SAN coming up, and my PP app is not showing that there are lounges at that airport. I looked it up on the pp website and it says they have the Aspire lounge.
Anyone have experience with this or are VX holders not granted access? Have only used PP once before.

i played this game as a child on my school's PC.
it starts in a bedroom, and each place (under the bed, at the window, toy box, etc.) was a different level from the game. when you enter the level, there's like a whole world with different themes (i can remember one that was full of robots) and your mission is to help these people doing lessons.
the main guide was a rag doll that acted like a mage that explained how the game works.

2025.01.31 02:30 SoberedByBricks very strange performance issue after last patch
Before the Jan 27 patch I had absolutely no issues, game ran smoothly on highest settings with no tweaks, no bugs aside from the known shader compilation issue which was always resolved by the built-in workaround.
After the Jan 27 patch, from the instant the main menu loads in, the game experiences such extreme input lag and frame rate drop that it essentially freezes. Moving the mouse takes a full minute to respond, background animations run at less than 1 frame per second, keyboard input is often completely unresponsive. However the resource use is all normal with no signs of memory leak. I've tried changing every graphic option, setting to high priority, running as administrator, etc.
The weird part is that whenever I alt-tab away then tab back to the game, for a split second it runs at normal speed before freezing up again. Literally half a second. I tried setting it to windowed mode to see if that helped and... nothing happens, it doesn't change from full screen borderless no matter what setting is selected. Very strange and frustrating.
Does anyone have a hint for what might be wrong?
