I believe teachers are doing the best they can with what they’ve got. Y’all are underpaid and under appreciated and we(parents) treat yall like a free day care.
With that being said, are school districts pushing students through to the next grade that don’t deserve it?
Are they focusing strictly on attendance numbers and testing scores?
Are they pushing training students to pass the tests rather than giving the ability to properly educate them?
When did parents stop caring about their children?
My very little knowledge and interaction come from experiences with older kids who seem to have a much lower education level. 5th grader that doesn’t know multiplication or division. They put 5 dots in 5 groups to figure out 5x5.
Another in 9th grade that struggles with capitalization, basic grammar, and basic understanding of core curriculum. HE IS MAKING A+’s in AP CLASSES! How?!
I know I’ve butchered some things within this post myself. Feel free to light me up, just leave some solid to God honest feedback on this.
How deep does this sh#% go?

Tomorrow I’m going for my first cd2 scan and bloodwork at a new clinic before jumping into my 7th ER. After 2.5 years, we finally made the decision to get another opinion and try a different clinic even though we love our doctor and clinic.
The virtual consult went so well and my husband has so much hope that the doctor had ideas and other things we haven’t tried yet.
So I’m looking for any anecdotes about switching clinics being the game changer for you after crappy IVF results. I need some hope to hold on to right now.

I took my 10 year old male cat to the vet on Saturday and he hasn't been the same since. He was having trouble urinating and that has gotten better so I don't think he is still having the medical issue, iI think it's the stress from the visit. He's usually very talkative and cuddly, but ever since the vet all he wants to do is sleep, he doesn't eat much, and he hardly meows. He doesn't even react to my pets and he used to lean in to me and scrunch his little paw every time I pet his head. I'm so worried about him because he's never been like this and his age concerns me that he won't go back to the way he was before the vet visit. I know it was stressful and traumatic for him but I'm not sure what to do to help him. Is it normal for him to be feeling like this so long after the vet?

(the “Company” or “MPT”) (NYSE: MPW) today announced the pricing of the private offering of $1.5 billion in aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes due 2032 (the “USD Notes”) and €1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes due 2032 (the “Euro Notes” and together with the USD Notes, the “Notes”) to be issued by its operating partnership, MPT Operating Partnership, L.P., and MPT Finance Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the operating partnership (together, the “Issuers”). The offering sizes of the USD Notes and the Euro Notes were revised from the previously announced offering sizes of $2.0 billion and €500 million. The USD Notes priced with a coupon of 8.500% and the Euro Notes priced with a coupon of 7.000%, representing a blended coupon of 7.885%. Interest on the Notes will be payable semi-annually in arrears on February 15 and August 15 of each year, commencing on August 15, 2025, and will mature on February 15, 2032. The offering is expected to close on February 13, 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.
The Issuers estimate that the net proceeds from the offering of the USD Notes will be approximately $1.46 billion and that the net proceeds from the offering of the Euro Notes will be approximately €974 million, in each case, after deducting discounts and commissions to the initial purchasers but before deducting offering related expenses. The Issuers intend to use a portion of the net proceeds of the Notes to fund the redemption in full of the Issuers’ 3.325% senior notes due 2025, 2.500% senior notes due 2026 and 5.250% senior notes due 2026, including related accrued interest, fees and expenses. The Issuers intend to use the remaining net proceeds, estimated to be approximately $0.8 billion, for general corporate purposes, which may include repaying other indebtedness, including amounts outstanding from time-to-time under the Company’s revolving credit facility, working capital, capital expenditures and potential future acquisitions.
