 | The GBBO bagels were rainbow, but as we can all see here, I couldn’t even get regular bagels to work out. No way am I going to try again adding the element of multiple colored doughs to the equation. 😬 I have no idea what went wrong where. The texture’s not right, the color’s not right, the burning and the smoking is definitely not right. This wasn’t even my first time making bagels and I weighed everything out so I’m pretty sad, especially since my previous attempts half a dozen years ago were so successful. Long story short, I broke up and blocked my now ex-girlfriend, who has a history of being manipulative and generally a liability. It ended quite dramatically as I had to kick her out of my car, and call the cops to remove her because of her refusal to leave. As I was kicking her out, she began to cry and say that she was pregnant with me (this was the first time I heard this and dismissed this as one of her insane lies).
Fast forward a week or two from this incident, I forgot I had not blocked her on X (Twitter) and she began messaging me there saying she was pregnant and showed me a test which she said was positive, I asked her to test again as the line was faint and same result showed with a faint positive line. (I'm still not sure whether it is legitimate or not).
We are both only 23 and live in Tennessee, and not quite in the financial position to raise a child, nor would I want to get within 1000ft of her again. I reached back out to her, exploring options to end the pregnancy, but she is uncooperative.
Originally after breaking up with her, I considered filing an order of protection but have so far delayed my filing. She was involved in a case in May 2024 for breaking and entering into my residence at the time, so I believe there should be cause for getting the order of protection. (Which is an entirely different legal subject).
My concern is, if this is true that she is pregnant and she ends up having the child could she make me pay child support which would eat considerably into my financials? How can I move on without any legal or financial repercussions? If I am able to preemptively file an order of protection will I be safe from any of these concerns?

 | I had over 60% fleas in the den, so I moved to a new one, but it flooded right away. I didn't realize it had flooded when I called my mate to help track a bear near our pups. It turned into a panic moment. Most of the pups wandered off and got lost while I searched for them. I gave up and reverted to a previous save before I howled. They’re just 0.1 pounds away from 20, so I’ll head to my chosen rendezvous site. First, I need to take over some rival hexes, so I might go back a day or two when I have stamina and the pups are safe in a den. 2025.01.31 03:10 GreedyHedgie Would you purchase home with foundation with lateral movement that was "stabilized"?
Looking at purchasing home but has 1 to 1.5 inches of lateral movement along one baseement wall. It was inspected and repaired with I beams, epoxy, grading and determined sound by structrual engineer in 2023. Reinspection by different engineer currently also deemed also sound without further movement. No "known" water problems or leaking. However from what I'm reading, I beams/grading may not be enoigh and is a bandaid. Home is 60 years old.
Does anyone have any similar experience ? Would this be a deal breaker for you?

A part of me refuses to believe this will happen. But we all have to brace for the possibility that we might be impacted by this. All because the new American presidency wants to make a grand entrance.
I think food prices will spike. Maybe everything will get more expensive. Like this did not need to happen but here we are.
I work for a company that doesn't source from the U.S. but we have some business in the southern states. We might not be able to fulfill those orders in time if this continues.
