I really liked Dark Souls 1 (at least til I got to blighttown which brought my poor 360 to its knees), so when I got my PS5 I got Demon's Souls (and Elden Ring but that's not important). 1-1 in Boletaria was very very good, and I was excited to continue. 1-2 also started off well, but I only make it all the way across the last bridge before being burned a very small amount of the time, and on the off chance I do, all the archers and knights just kill me anyway since it is very cramped and I repeatedly get stuck on walls. I tried 2-1 instead, but the big-backed flamethrower people have an obscene amount of health and I'm finding it hard to navigate after the section with the 3 dogs (which I hate with a burning passion). Right now I'm a level 12 knight with a longsword, and I feel like I'm out of options to progress in the game. Any help is wanted.

2025.01.31 03:28 poppingandlockin How did your life change for the better after diagnosis? Remaining optimistic?
I was diagnosed this week with N1 and had my follow up today about next steps (trying Wakix if/when insurance approves, then possibly adding Xyrem in 2-3wks). I really didn’t believe it would be narcolepsy, but it is very, very much so. Genuinely taken by surprise by all of this, and it’s been a whirlwind 2.5-3m from discussion to diagnosis.
I am trying to be optimistic and look on the bright side of things. My GP today asked me how it feels to have an answer and diagnosis and while it’s nice to know WHY I am so exhausted all the time, it’s difficult to process that I am exhausted because my brain literally is ¿malfunctioning? (it’s late and im tired and can’t think of any better word). So… looking on the bright side… how do you remain optimistic and how has your life changed for the better? what suggestions or advice do you have moving forward for someone newly diagnosed?

Hey, Im new here so I am very sorry to be asking this question that so many others have already asked.
I am looking at getting a sub (or a pair of them) for my home theater.
Whathifi seem to be rating the Q Acoustics QB12 very high, and I am thinking about it too. Many other paces say the the SVS subs like the SVS PB-1000 PRO is very good too. I like the look of the JBL HDI-1200P, cause it looks amazing and its shape and finish suits perfectly with my wharfedale evo 4.4.
But I want to here what redditers could give me for advice.
I hope I am not asking for too much.

I work for an IT consulting company, and Zscaler has been installed on my work laptop. Currently, I have Opal set up as a WireGuard server and Beryl AX as a WireGuard client, which sends all traffic to my home IP address. I'm not sure if it's configured as a Zscaler VPN or a proxy setup, but when I checked my IP with Ipleak after connecting to Beryl AX, it showed both my home IP and the Zscaler IP, with the Zscaler server located in the same state where I reside. Also, my location's service Zscaler application on my laptop is enabled, and I can't disable it. I plan to travel for a few months and would like to work while being outside of the geofencing restrictions. However, I know this may violate my company's policy. Does anyone have any advice?

 | Decided up my gyuto game and see what the dealio with Sanjo knives is that everyone raves about. I do have a Masashi Kokuen bunka that is a good cutter, but there’s nothing like a gyuto… Thanks to a fellow a TCK member for the Yoshikane! Top: Yoshikane 210mm SKD Bottom: Wakui 240mm white #2. I’m really stoked for the Wakui. It has a good heft, of course it glides through food, and it just looks like everything I want a Japanese knife to be. Nashiji finish, burnt wood, and razor sharp. It’s also my first shirogami blade and I’m looking forward to seeing how it handles compared to my Kato AS and the Yoshi SKD. I enjoy sharpening, so I’m guessing I’ll like it. Honesuki and sujihiki are next up. Maybe something from Shiro Kamo? Moritaka? If you can’t tell I like the rustic look over a mirror polish and acrylic handle. Not a big fan of flashy knives. So my random orbital sander is in good shape id say, been using it alot lately for a project. I've noticed though, even though I don't empty the little bag on the back frequently(it's little dust collector) that I'll see sawdust in my work still, even if I use a can of compressed air or even wipe aggressively it's still there. If I empty it more often, or just put my vacuum head on it, would that take care of the problem, or should I, as a friend suggested, get a pneumatic sander? But with that I'd need an air compressor wouldn't I? And that's not on my wheelhouse
