So I just made it to the wano arc and the part where luffy is in jail. Kidds reaction to killing eating the fruit and not being able to stop laughing was heartbreaking. But I was thinking if I am understanding it correctly it comes from a man made devil fruit so in theory couldn’t they just like put a sea prism handcuff or something to make the symptoms stop? Or do the symptoms have nothing to do with the devil fruit or are man made devil fruits not afflicted by the sea water wreaking them?

Hello everyone. I am currently on the third year of a Modern Languages degree. I chose it because I like languages and I like the possible career options I have with it.
However, recently I’ve had a drastic change of heart. I now have a very specific career goal, which is researching autism spectrum disorders. This is a bit difficult to do with a Modern Languages degree so I am considering different options.
I would like to know whether getting a PhD in Linguistics would be a good starting point, or I should do a more scientific path (I don’t mind getting a new degree in something scientific). Thank you!

Obviously the last several generations of Galaxy Tablets (S8, S9, S10) are capable of emulating 3DS. Just wondering if the S-Pen does a good job of replicating the stylus and touch screen during games. I imagine the games that control better with stylus vs traditional controls would be best, but just wondered if anyone could share their experiences in general.

Hi,
I don't know if it's just a me issue or someone else has this. The wheel behaves weirdly on ETS2. It feels like, because it doesn't have a centered neutral position, the game has trouble properly reading the position the wheel is in. As a result, during driving, the game will have some twitches in a direction (mostly right) which decenters the wheel. At worst there's a sudden swing to the right that I didn't do and have to correct.
Was I just unlucky in this purchase?

Hi Everybody!
I’m not in the science profession whatsoever, I’m actually in finance lending. But I’ve taken a unique interest in science subjects, and some tinkering here and there in my garage.
I wanted to get your opinion on something before I even try it.
So… We’ve all seen the videos of atmospheric crushing of aluminum can. Usually the steam and cold bath dunking example, and some involving a vacuum pump slowly doing its thing. I was thinking about first evacuating SAY 29.8 inches of mercury out of a separate vacuum chamber, and then just flipping a valve. In any case, the idea is that the atmospheric 14.7 psia is what’s doing the crushing work on all exposed sides of the cylinder equally.
My objective: But I want for this process to be a bit more controlled, in that it crushes downward, in a longitudinal manner only - as if i stomped downward onto it.
My Method: Using a ring-shaped water nozzle that drips a constant flow of thin film of water down along the length of the can - where it’ll just run off the bottom anyway, then this… should be achieved?
(Basically I want for the atmospheric compressive forces to be limited to the cylinder ends ONLY, not the sides)
My theory behind my proposed method : Since water [itself] cannot compress, then it shouldn’t (?) also be capable of acting as a working fluid to otherwise transfer such compressive forces acting onto it’s surface either.
What I think would happen : this would limit the atmospheric compressive forces to only the exposed ends of the cylinder (top & bottom) only… crushing the can, longitudinally - resulting in the thin little disc-shaped end product I was aiming to achieve.
Could this work? Or am I just crazy?

Hello,
My husband has been in stomach pain and experiencing extreme bloat for several months and it's only getting worse. Doctors have done CT scans and MRIS. One scan came back with a legion on his pancreas but then the specialist cleared him and said it was a fatty fold. Another doctor said the legion grew double in size and to see the specialist but he thinks there isn't anything wrong. He was further referred to gastro which thinks it is diet related but even eating super healthy or restricting things like gluten or fatty foods or dairy do not help. He gets bloated after having the smallest meal or even a half of a water bottle. It doesn't matter if he fasts all day either. His stomach is rock hard constantly and he looks pregnant. He can hardly see his feet anymore standing up. Something isn't right and doctors aren't taking time to understand that he is a fit person who trains MMA AND BJJ, lifts weights, and runs with me. This isn't beer belly it's super tight and he never drinks alcohol. Doctor gave him some gastro meds and he's taken gas c and anti acids like Tim's but nothing helps AT ALL. I'm so worried and don't know what else to do. :(

I'm graduating from a high school in California with a 3.86 GPA, 1370 SAT, and little to no ec's. That being said I want to go to a good college. I've applied to UCSB, UCR, UCSD, UCD, UMich, UNC, and UF although I doubt I'll get into any of them besides UCR (my essays were awful). I understand my high school stats are quite mediocre but I eventually want to get into one of the more prestigious UC's such as LA or Berkeley. I've heard that the way the Californian education system is wired encourages schools to accept transfers from community colleges.
Would I need to go to a CCC for both years or just my sophomore one? How much does what I did in high school set me back? What would be the best route to ensure my acceptance into a better school?
