Hello fellow gamers. Alas, I think its time to move on from my Asus RX 570 4gb. I got the entire PC during the height of the lockdown and it's what got me back into PC gaming. I'm mostly into single-player RPGs during the time I can spare and I've been able to stretch the 570 so far by lowering settings. I'm forced to upgrade because I want to play FF7 Rebirth and sadly its no longer supported by this gpu. I know my cpu is also underpowered but its still in the recommended specs of the game at low settings. I also only really play occasionally with rpg titles that I'm into. I'll be happy with 1080p 60hz low to med settings with frame gen.

I'll be buying used, these are the prices offered by a reputable 2nd hand reseller in my country converted to usd. Which SKU/card to get?

Often, when you try to play something unpopular like Cap or Wanda, everybody start to whine and ask you to switch since, apparently, these heroes are not meta or suck overall. They cry and throw when you do not pick Luna since, it turns out, that Namor is unplayable without his 3rd turret. It is impossible to win the game with only one tank, and 3 healers, is a sure fire way to win.
Remember when everybody were shitting on Rocket since his role is just a healbot with no actual contribution? There are thousands scenarios where your stupid meta does not work with specific enemies, their team composition or map layout. Sure the numbers and statistics are true but damn you suck if you can produce results with Spidey only when Venom is on the team.
Make decisions after trying at least, and do not ruin the mood before the game even starts.

I reside in New York City, a highly competitive real estate market. In this market, virtually nothing goes for the asking price, even the most ugliest property on the block fetches over the asking price by a significant margin, ranging from 50 to 80k.
I’ve observed that all the offers I’ve lost to date have been made by cash buyers. I suspect that some buyers may not genuinely possess 800k in cash, while others might have obtained it from a previous sale.
My question is, if I have additional investment, such as a brokerage account, can I legally submit an all-cash offer and borrow against my stock investment? Is this a prudent strategy? Will I have to actually sell my investment? I’d think that I would get a mortgage after closing?

2025.01.31 04:10 Ok-Industry1547 Is it truely wrong to say that 2d and cgi/3d animtion is both equal amout of hard to do?
Hello so I am an animator myself almost have 7 years of experience but I always see this argument is 2d harder then cgi/3d animation? I worked with 2d animation my whole animation Career and a little bit of 3d animtion but maybe I don't have enough years to really say an Opinion like this but I think both styles of animation are the same amout of hard working.
2d has frames to work with from sketch you gotta do all of the sketch and line art along with coloring. And too make it smooth you gotta draw each frame and make move smooth which is very hard to do.
But in cgi/3d animtion you gotta work with models yes that can be pretty easy but too actually figure it out and start the animation progress is really hard as one mistake will mess up your 11 hours of work. While on 2d animation you could just Erase the mistake or if your doing Traditional 2d animation on paper could could get an easer and Redo that mistake pretty usually without it ruining the whole animtion even as an sketch.
I just don't like seeing people who have no experience in animtion say that cgi is more lazy and take way less time. As in most the time it doesn't it can take weeks or even months too finish a simple sense of an 1 minute clip. The same goes with 2d animation it can take up to weeks or even months to even finish an 1 minute of an animation. That's why so much 2d and cgi flims come out after so many years in production and its honestly take the same amout of time.
I mean I also get it people are getting sick of cgi/3d animtion ( or morden animtion) then to 2d animation but I think that's no reason to compare and then disrespect artist time that was spent on a decent movie that was cgi/3d. Some the best flims in the world wouldn't be here if it wasn't for cgi/3d animation (like toy story , avatar , ice age , godzilla movies , finding nemo , httyd , kung fu panda , monster inc , wall E, Despicable me , the Incredibles , spider man into the spiderviveres , etc) . I just feel like cgi/3d animation get too much an unnecessary hate these days.
But I don't know I just want to hear from other animators and if I'm truely wrong about what think am I truely wrong to say there both have the same hardness in animation?

I was planning to start small to try it out before going all in but I don't want to assume it's not helping if I am literally just not taking enough. How much are most of you taking? I have severe insomnia. NOTHING works, besides ambien and Ativan. Unfortunately I moved back home and I’m still waiting to see a psychiatrist to get my meds back. I have tried everything! Nothing works. I looked up the most expensive sleep aide bought it…took it…4hrs ago….im tired? But my body WILL not let me sleep. Normally when I have my meds I have to take hydroxyzine 2hrs before I take my ambien and Ativan it shuts me down and I am out cold. Yesterday I woke up at 1130am. And was up all night, went to sleep finally at 8am woke up at 11:40am. So only 3hrs of sleep I got! I am in a daze and I feel drunk. I am getting aggravated and physically sick from this. I don’t know what else to do!!! I’m praying to god the therapist can get me into see a psychiatrist asap as I have my first appointment with them tomorrow. I need sleep and feel my mental state taking a massive toll. I’ve listened to podcasts to help me shut my brain down, I have listened to multiple types of sleep music even brown noise, white noise etc. I’m at a loss and I don’t know what else to do!

I my working as Ad Ops specialist for a boutique agency, primarily managing small-scale accounts, mostly on Google Ads, with some experience setting up Facebook Ads as well.
Now, I have an opportunity to transition into a planning/ strategist role where I’ll be responsible for planning campaigns, including budgeting, selecting ad tactics, and overall campaign strategy—areas where I feel confident.
However, one challenge I’m facing is understanding and effectively utilizing different audience segments. My company frequently uses AEP, Bombora Surge, and LiveRamp, and while I have a minimum understanding of these platforms, I don’t yet feel 100% confident in applying/using them correctly. When creating briefs for Ad Ops, I sometimes question whether my audience recommendations make sense or if i even use the right terms on my brief/
What would be the best way to deepen my knowledge in these areas and become fully confident in using them?
