I opened the flickr app and there was a screen saying I exceeded the limit of photos for non members so I went ahead and bought a subscription but as soon as I did ALL my 10k photos were gone. All the photos of my son for the first 4 years of his life GONE. Is there anything I can do? I bought pro, sent a message to customer service. Im so devastated. If not a solution has anyone ever had any luck getting their photos back?

I've always preferred my own space because it helps me focus and I don't have to worry about shared bathrooms. I know people say it's less social and you can't make as many friends, but I like being social and I plan on just being more involved in the common spaces and then going back to off campus housing for studying and sleeping. It's also a lot more worth it for how much you pay. Currently I'm looking at the Hub and planning on having my friend as a roommate. I will visit UF to check out the housing so if anyone has recommendations for off campus or why I should stay on campus first year let me know please.

I know about flashlights or lasers are causing frame drops but the last couple evenings I have seen frames drop to 20’s-50’s on Low settings and using Frame Gen and the setting at the bottom is set to Performance. The server connection is all green bars and I am normally used to 120+ FPS on medium-high settings with Frame Gen and it usually runs smooth. I was lucky to run a few tasks at Tiger Bay and Fort Narith tonight.

You guys go to extreme lengths to try and become appealing to women. And I don't mean personality wise here ,obviously it's desirable as a whole to have a good personality so that you become more likable to people in general and have more friends .
I mean the lengths to which you go to in terms of bodybuilding (if you guys actually do that ) , plastic surgeries,making lots of money and what not so that more women will find you appealing.
This level of heteronormativity has been perpetuated by men a lot by looking at other men trying to impress women through various methods and if you as a man don't emulate the same you're ostracised as an outcast .
I can understand the desire for sex and relationships even . Both are incredible if you can find the right person to do it with , but some of you actually dedicate too much of your time pandering to the female gaze .
Once you let go of what women find attractive in men (personality aside here , I'm talking about the physical aspect of it) life becomes much more peaceful and fulfilling .
It hits especially sweeter when you know you're lowkey not women's physical type anyways , so that you can let go of the need to try and be more appealing to women everyday and let go of the constant need of validation from women .

This is pretty long I just wanted to share my experience. I need to know if I’m overreacting or not but I’m just very confused and pissed off.
A couple weeks ago, I found a bear l'd been looking for up for sale and I dm'd the person asking to buy it. They also had a bunch of clothes they were selling. So, I asked for a pair of red trousers with the bear.
They got back to me and said (even though it was listed for sale). "I'm not sure I want to sell those, why do you want them? They don't match with the bear you asked for?" I then said I was actually wanting them for my devil bear (who is a boy), and she said "Oh well they're for girls so they'll look silly on him, it has flayed trousers and a bow" which is such a ridiculous thing to say? I didn't care about that whatsoever, I wanted them for him flayed trousers or not.
She then said: "Since you’re not get the trousers, l'll give you something for free because I need to de-clutter. What colour would you like? And I'll make sure you like it and to send a photo before I send it, so you don't get clothes you already have or don't like" So I was happy and said "Okay sure, red or black is great, my brother has a blue matching devil bear to mine and he's showing my bear up at the moment haha, so I really need some clothes for him"
She promised she'd send a photo to make sure I liked it. She even asked for a photo of my Red Devil bear to get an idea of what he should wear. She even asked what character he was inspired by to get an idea of the clothes HE wore, like this woman was so keen in the beginning to get it right. She even said: "We need to get something just as cool for your bear, l have red trousers and black leather trousers, so they're an option and also a leather jacket for you. I'll send pictures later when I find them in storage"
Then she just stopped communicating with me? Didn't send a photograph to make sure I liked it, just sent a picture of it in the box (I couldn’t see the bear or the outfit).
When I received the bear, the whole outfit was blue and white? The exact colours I asked not to get. I keep looking over my messages trying to see what I said, or did wrong for her to purposefully send the clothes I said my brother’s bear had that I didn't need. I don't know? She even said ones she was going to send, confirming the colours and everything in the messages, so she wasn't colour blind or something.
The outfit was horrible, something I can’t even use or like. Something she said she would make sure DIDN’T HAPPEN by communicating with me and showing me before she sent it.
I know I sound bratty, because it was free. But I’m annoyed because she asked what colours I wanted. I was also willing to pay for trousers beforehand, that she wouldn't sell because apparently my boy bear couldn't wear "feminine" trousers. That’s one of the main reasons I’m angry. I could’ve had something I ACTUALLY LIKED and wanted if she didn’t act so weird about goddamn teddy trousers?
I’m just really annoyed, I’m trying to understand what happened in the space of a few days, that made her do that? If she didn’t want to send an outfit for free, then why did she offer? Why did she offer to send the leather jacket, trousers etc. if she wasn’t going to? If she didn’t want to send the clothes in the end, why didn’t she tell me so i didn’t end up getting something I hated? If she wanted me to pay in the end, why didn’t she ask because I would’ve and offered to do so multiple times but she was adamant on giving them to me for free?
I was really excited to get the clothes and the bear, and it’s been soiled for me because I’ve just been wondering what the hell happened and why she did that?
Sorry for the rant and for those who stayed, thanks for reading. It’s been bothering me for weeks. Can anyone offer bonding tips for this poor bear I got because I really don’t want this to affect my experience with him, like it has been?
