I have a 6 year old lab/chessie, who developed a mast cell tumor at 4 yo. It was completely removed and everything was fine until recently, when I noticed what might be another one. I contacted the breeder after the first one and there’s no known family history. Has anyone dealt with these? Can I decrease the likelihood of them developing?

Hi all,
I rented a car to drive from Toronto to Montreal. On the motorway, everyone sits at least 10kph over the speed limit of 110. If I drive at the speed limit, then even those massive trucks overtake me and spread snow/slush/salt all over my the car window. So you kind of have to travel at the speed of traffic to be safe.
Even then, if I’m driving at 120kph , there are cars passing me all the time. Some of them fly by!
This is really different to Melbourne, Australia where I used to live. There everyone just went the speed limit of 100kph. Even Going 105kph would mean that you would be faster than everyone else because everyone just went the speed limit.
Why is everyone driving faster here in Canada?

I received a few texts from my (questionable) friend earlier today. The contents were as follows:
"Also what the f*ck was that shit in global"
"F*cking r*t*rd" (edited to "F*cking *ssh*le")
"Like why"
*he didn't censor the language, I did, because I don't remember the rules on slurs/cussing and I don't want my post taken down
Context for the texts: today in my 'global' class, my teacher asked my friend (1 for the purposes of this post) if he had received any detentions. Eager to embarrass him, I eagerly shouted out that he had three, and when my teacher asked what for, I again spoke before he could and told the entire class it was for academic dishonesty. He just texted me, clearly angered by my actions in class. The image is his texts. I don't know how I should respond.
Additional context: at the end of last school year, I was involved in a complicated scenario involving a separate member of our class (2), one where 2 nearly got me expelled on account of alleged discrimination (unrelated, please don't prod...long story short I responded to being bullied in a bad way). While this was going down, 1 (someone who I considered a close friend at the time and trusted a lot) sent 2 screenshots of my racist text messages, taken out of context to portray me as an actual racist (as opposed to the truth, which is a student making [arguably distasteful] jokes with a friend). This aided 2 in his objective of getting me expelled.
While I was ultimately not expelled, 1 assisted 2 in the attempt, for which I feel a lot of resentment towards him for. What happened today in class wasn't intended to be outright harmful, merely an joking embarrassment, yet both his reaction and my lingering anger towards him are making me wonder if I should respond with an apology (e.g., I didn't intend to harm him today), an angry reply (e.g., 'that's what you get for last year!'), or something else. I don't know how to handle the situation because I don't have many friends and I'm not the type of person who likes to go solo if you know what I mean, but I also don't want to keep toxic people in my life. Then again maybe I'm toxic? I have no idea, hence why I'm here
I'm willing to answer questions and provide further context if needed. Thanks for any advice

I don't know about anyone else, but recently Sky has been a chore. I don't mean to complain about the game, genuinely. I love Sky. But I have only a few hours of free time after life and I have to spend 2-3 hours of it playing for those 20 candles. You might say "you don't need to grind for every cosmetic", but I genuinely want all the cosmetics. I don't do it out of some false sense of necessity or FOMO, I just love getting cosmetics.

 | I know that this isn't that impressive to most on here, but I wanted to share my victory. I decided to start my 3rd playthrough about two weeks ago, and before then I had never played the DLC. I never thought I'd be able to beat Main and DLC on expert, as well as get all the achievements. (Mortimer Freeze, Esther Winchester, and Chef Saltbaker were all harder than most OG bosses, imo.) The Gauntlet was a pain but none more than Chef Saltbaker on expert mode. I guess I'm not really done.. I'll probably work through S ranks on everything... And it should be multi-tiered. For example, something like KD is made in Canada, but the labelling should also tell us if the company producing it is Canadian or not. This would go a long way in helping consumers decide what to buy when at the grocery store. The labelling should be on the front of the product and easily visible so we don't have to pick it up and read all the fine print.

Hey, sorry this is a bit dark of a question. But sometimes I consider going, I want to stop self-harming and I want to get mentally healthy again but I’ve heard/read horror stories about them. I am 100% against taking any medication, I think my issues can be solved with some time alone and just working really hard on myself and my past trauma. I don’t want to be forced to take meds, but I’ll gladly try whatever programs they offer. Will I be forced to take meds? Will I get abused (I am 16F and I’d feel vulnerable there based on the stories I’ve heard)? I would greatly appreciate if anyone shared stories or their own personal experience. Thank you.

For context met this guy in August. Took me out was always imitating texting and calling and occasionally seeing me in public settings. After our first hangout he suggested my place I agreed we cuddled nothing much. After that day he still remained consistent. To be honest I’m 18 and he’s 21 my parents are strict so I started sneaking him in at night we wouldn’t have sex as I’m a virgin but he tried to convince me multiple times to at least take my clothes off bc it’s “more hot” I never agreed bc we haven’t known each other for a while I was uncomfertable. Ok so months go by I’m still sneaking this guy in every about every other week if not twice a month, things started to progress (intimacy wise) he now would let me feel his tip inside me took a while but he convinced me of other things. By this point I’m still not giving him full penetrative sex. In the beginning he used to put effort in and time to texting and calling but now he’s very inconsistent like I get it he might be busy but what really triggered me was not going the entire day and saying “I wasn’t on my phone a lot I was with my family” like are you serious? Not one message giving me a notice? or other time he would say he will call me but doesn’t. I addressed these things he would be good for like a week then fall off again. And some of it is my fault I would be inconsistent in texting but genuinely was busy and I tell him that. I ignored all his red flags all these months in hopes of him acting right. But recently he’s very inconsistent, our chats are meaningless, I don’t know what our dynamic is the only time he wants to see him is at night when I mentioned a lot we should do stuff during the day. I’m self aware, yes I called him out, yes I gave him a lot of access to me, yes I let all his bs slide.
Today I decided I’m so fed up
Him: bc i was trying to not bicker with you over something that we both suck at (texting) feels like that’s his excuse to not putting effort
Me: Yea I’m just talking about lack of inconsistency and you change the subject like it’s nothing and ask to hangout and see makes no sense
Him: you suck at texting me back n i do too are you going to change you replying faster ?
Me: that won’t change anything about you will it like at first it was whatever but now this is so meaningless
Him: so you’re getting tired of this ? do u even know what this is
Me: no do you care to tell me Im asking you to take initiative as a man and answer the question
Him: idk what we are we haven’t had this conversation yet but ik i like you and im guessing you like me but i have no idea what this is
Me: I assume you were never going to mention this conversation
Him: i was waiting til you were (like wtff he’s acting feminine)
Me: you keep saying I have to mention or start things first whats the deal?
Him: bc i always want to hear it from you first it’s just how i am

Him: but yeah tho but i like how we are right now we can keep talking and see how things progress
Me: I think things have progressed rapidly all we’re doing is “hanging out”
Me: I don’t wanna do this anymore if that’s all you’re into (basically me sneaking him in). You’re telling me let’s keep talking and see how this progresses as if it hasn’t been half a year that’s a new low And it takes you half a year to know if you like someone or not?
Him: well we can take a bigger steps like idk i’ll make an effort to see you more during the day instead of only at night (this sounds like total bs)
Me: I don’t want to keep talking with you to see how things “progress” by now you should be firm on where you stand
Him: i wanna keep moving forward with you i said i like you and i want to continue moving forward with you I’ll change me actions
Me: never changed before even though I called you out on it, all I hear is talk I have nothing to talk about, I told you what I wanted and you can’t give it to me.
Him: i said i will give it to you i’ll put in more effort
That’s the final message. This is where i don’t know what to say or do or just let it go and not respond. Idk if i should believe another word that comes out of his mouth.
