Has anyone else had this told to them? Hi let me give you a brief summary of my crappy situation, I was brought here at 1 year old not my choice but I guess I’m grateful. Im undocumented and at 17 I was orphaned and have been raising my little sister since, I even have a EMT license now, I got married March of 2024 I’m 20 now and after a few consultations with lawyers I’ve been told $10k and 6 years with no work and permit in sight ? I have no criminal record at all. Is this for real?

2025.01.31 06:42 WhySoComplicaded My mom is supposed to move out tomorrow but hasn’t even started looking for a place yet
My mom (45) is supposed to leave tomorrow and even after I (25) have sent her countless places and called her daily to encourage her to look at them in hopes of scheduling showings, she never looked at them.
She says that she has no will to live and feels hopeless as she has several evictions under her belt, no bank, and no current work history.
The last time her land lord had told her he was going to sell the place, she asked me to help pay for her airbnbs while she searched for a new home. I agreed to this. He ended up changing his mind about selling the home. Since then he has officially decided to sell and gave us 3 months notice.
Now, I’m in a position where I’m watching my mom not do anything to find a new home with months notice, and it makes me not want to help with the costs.
But she also seems to be mentally in a position where she isn’t capable of doing anything for herself.
If anyone were to have a conversation with her over the phone, they’d think she was a perfectly sharp, healthy, capable adult, but her actions say otherwise.
But in person? I don’t know if people would see her the same way. I haven’t seen her since her last eviction 2 years ago, as she is agoraphobic and honestly I’m afraid to see her because she doesn’t look like herself anymore.
What can I do / what should I do?

I am not speaking for myself, but I have seen attractive people who seem to suffer from BDD and its like nobody seems to have any time for them😭 they genuinely think theyre faking their crippling insecurity because anyone with eyes would find them attractive. So they are very rude and horrid when they voice any insecutity
Why do people think this is a mental illness that conventionally attractive people are exempt from? It reminds me of that old animated batman episode where that woman hides her face because she thinks shes hideous but shes actually beautiful. But she cannot see it

So the joke here is... The Parasol this Oc uses is named "Specialty". Her name is Melissa(Sweetie) Culverin, a pro hunter and a spy who tracks down and eliminate any illegal underground businesses, mostly human trafficking activities and take assassination tasks only on criminals. Culverin has a strong moral beliefs on human rights and doing What's good to preserve innocent lives. That's why she only kills criminals and abusers of power. This is her ability.
Nen type: (Manipulator)
This ability is completely dependent on her holding the umbrella all the time. is used for espionage, utility, assassination and mid-range combat.
Signature move: this ability is a one hit kill ability after fulfilling a number of conditions.
Conditions include: - all other conditions must be completed within 20 minutes after one condition is fulfilled. Within the 20 minutes: -target must interact with the umbrella at least once, can be as simple as putting a finger on it. - user must directly or indirectly do a simple favor for the target. (Depends on how much the user is willing to gatekeep the definition of favor) - user must slide in a keyword into a conversation with the target to vocally mark them as target. (Simply put, a password to mark someone as target by saying it in a conversation with them.) - finally, user must close the umbrella once all the conditions are done.
Once the conditions are fulfilled, the user will simply point the umbrella towards the target then the umbrella tip will be launched and act as a homing missile aiming for the targets heart and impaling it.
Other Sub-abilities: Basic forme: user can subtly influence the target under their umbrella without completely taking over their body applying Simple nen manipulation.
Refracted motion: user refracts light around them to not be visually seen to convince everyone around them using nen that they're not there. The only weakness is this isn't zetsu and the presence can be sensed with gyo and en.
Weaponized specialty (combat mode): - user launches the umbrella's tip in a straight line, letting it impale through the first thing it touches then it comes back. - user manipulates the limbs of the umbrella to turn it into either a short pike or a scythe - user manipulates the limbs of the umbrella into legs so the umbrella can be a "pet" to assist the user in battle maybe as a distraction or disorientation.
