My first-ever ginger bug grew mold after a few weeks of successful growth, so I'm starting over with what I could save of the previous bug and new ginger and sugar. What worked well for me the first time was adding in a little ACV with the mother to the mix too at the beginning. What I think created the mold was putting a cap on the ginger bug too tightly while feeding it too much during our cold weather snap. When the ginger bug was healthy, it made a dozen bottles of great 'ginger water kefir' (what I'm calling it since it's mostly water, about 1 part ginger bug & juice to 4-5 parts water, the result is very dry so takes more like plain sparkling water with a little funky but tasty probiotic flavor). I used unpasteurized apple cider as the juice sugar source for my first dozen bottles.
While I'm waiting to see if the new ginger bug is going to work out, I'm experimenting with making more probiotic drink using the scoby from a previous bottle. The 'mother' bottle was quite active; if I put a little bit of sugar into what was left in the bottle it would fizz up a lot. So, I figured there is enough active scoby in the previous drink's bottle to culture a few additional bottles. I added some of the previous drink into 3 bottles, dissolved 3 teaspoons of white sugar and juice of 1 lemon into 1.25 cups of distilled water, then divided this fruit juice/sugar solution into the 3 bottles. Then filled the bottles the rest of the way to the top with distilled water. It was already bubbly at the top after an hour, so I think that's great start! Does any use this method regularly in addition to or rather than keeping a ginger bug?

I tried to follow the website and a couple videos detailing how to get VMware Workstation Pro but when I tried to find the software to download, I couldn't find any installers that says VMware Workstation Pro 17.0 for Personal Use like in the videos but just instead found the plain one. I can only find the regular version, is this the same as the personal use one?

Had notification via the app that a package was coming Tuesday - just cheap junk from AliExpress. I'm at work but I know it's small and fits in mailbox.
08.30 I get an update - package delivered to the mailbox 11.30 I get an alert on my CCTV, post van, I see person deliver a letter No package received. No other people or vehicles in my driveway all day.
11 -- 12 is the normal time for the post to come so why/where was my package scanned as delivered at 08.30.
In your experience, much point in going to complain and show them the app / cctv ? I know I should in principle but it's a couple of hours out of my day to complain about a 10chf package that I'll get a refund on.

Sometimes when it's late and my friends go to bed and don't respond I talk to random guys on hinge because they're a captive audience and so much more creative than a chat bot. They're also much nicer and have more relevant responses than websites that let you chat with Complete anonymous strangers (who are usually looking for wierd e-sex which is so dystopian or to vent about their problems which i do not need more of). I just want to yap and hinge guys are usually good listeners cause they don't try too hard to lead the conversation anyways.
I don't feel bad persay. I believe I'm good company. You might ask why don't i have a boyfriend to which I say did you read the post I'm full of problems. Terrible attachment issues (both limerence for people who'll never love me and emotional detachment to everyone else). It's really peaceful to talk to someone just to get to know about their best side and not anything heavy. Like yes we can trade factoids about the places we went on summer vacation and you can tell me your favourite song. But tbh I don't want to hear about what work you have to do this week and how you're stressed about the social-economic state of the world. Maybe I just really like small talk and something about dating apps makes sure it's always fresh interesting.

Im doing the rear main seal and oil pan gasket on my 2000 3.0 ranger and when i pop the seal out i see this The ring behind the seal is intact all the way around except at the bottom at the arrows in the last pic there is 2 chunks of loose metal in the crack against the crank that you can barely see on camera (i used a drywall nail to pop the seal out from the side not bottom i did not do this) can i just replace the seal with a sleeve kit or is fucked

Hey! I got a kitten from a foster and he started getting some hair loss above his eye on Saturday and the skin looked a bit irritated.

Please see the links for the videos. I asked the foster lady because she said to let her know if he had any issues, and she at first thought it was from my other cat. But now it’s spreading and I kept the cats separate so I know that my other cat didn’t scratch him or anything.

Is this ringworm? Has anyone seen this before? I can take him to the vet tomorrow if it looks serious but I tend to overreact so trying not to jump to spend $300 if it’s not necessary.

I’ve been on Wegovy for about 18 months. Lost about 60lbs by 12 months in and stalled. Now hovering just below 300lbs.
Then I found out about Tirz and talked to my PCP.
After doing my research, she agreed and changed my prescription. I’m a little bummed that she wanted me to start at the beginning dose, but whatever. I was happy that she was listening and willing to switch.
So I got my first 3 months supplies (one month of 2.5 and 2 months of 5.0). Last week I took my last wegovy, and tonight I just took my first Zep.
Here’s to kick-restarting the weight loss, hopefully.
