Admittedly it's my fault, for trying to find a house too quickly. Me and my partner had limited time. Found a property to rent out in London that looked fine in the photos.
The estate agent let us do one viewing. Initially it seemed fine. Needed some professional cleaning done, which we were assured would be done.It took all but 10 minutes the estate agent didn't really let us check anything in detail.
They ignored our requests for a second viewing. First red flag.
The day before moving in, they delayed us by two whole weeks due to the gas and electricity checks not being done. We paid out of own pockets for Airbnbs and hotels. They blamed the landlord, recently learnt it was their responsibility.
After finally moving in we realised they rented us out a completely inhabitable home,
Despite saying they would clean it, the flat was absolutely filthy and disgusting.
We had an oven that doesn't work, and shower that when we tried to turn on was broken at the knobs.
The draws and cupboards were rotting and coming off the hinges , and there was stains and moulding that was hidden away. A minor nit pick: There's only one plug socket in each room despite the estate agent telling us there were more plug sockets behind the cupboard. Another lie.
The gas oven also lacked a cooker chain.
On top of all this there was a clear gas leak. Again showing they lied about the bloody gas checks and so delayed us for nothing and putting our lives in danger
They are dragging their feet to release us from the contract, and blaming us for not checking thoroughly that they were bullshitng us.
And I'm losing my god damn mind.
They sold us down the damn river, and I'm looking at being homeless at this point.

Hey all... I'm having issues with this professor in Geog 101.. he treats the 100 level class like a 400 level, emails very unprofessionally, does not care about his students or their grades, and assigns 30-question quizzes each week ( each question is written with 3-10 parts in each question) and sets a 10 minute timer on the quizzes. Is there any way I could report him or have someone above him lower that ego of his?? He sent a confusing email that made NO SENSE the other day while completely avoiding the question I asked him.. so I responded and asked him to reword what he said because it makes no sense and rewrote my question because he completely avoided it.. he responded by saying "he dose does not need nor want my commentary on his emails and if i am confused to look the words up in a dictionary".. makes sense why the guy teaches geog he thinks like a rock

This is an old, well established, and very productive concord grape vine at my home, which I purchased two years ago. Last summer I cleared out some of the dead vines, but otherwise haven’t actually pruned. It is such a vigorous mess, it’s hard to tell what is what. Does anyone have advice or know of a good video resource for how to systematically tackle pruning this vine?

I’m a 25-year-old male in great physical health. I weight lift and play sports about four times a week, eat well, and overall feel the best I ever have both physically and mentally.
But ever since I was 19, I’ve had recurring episodes of blood in my ejaculate, which lasts for 2-3 weeks at a time and happens 2-3 times a year. Immediately after ejaculation, there is also blood in my urine, but it clears out after I urinate a few times.
A few key details: It has only ever happened in the winter months as far as I can remember. I’ve had a cystoscopy and MRI, and my urologist found nothing abnormal. This is seriously impacting my sex life—I’ve been married for three years, and my wife and I want to start trying for kids soon.
I’m at a complete loss. Has anyone else experienced this? What could this be? Should I get a second opinion, or are there any specialists I should look into? Any help is appreciated!

So I joined a company and they work on this platform called indicium for querying their live data, now this platform is a nightmare, it is extremely slow, has no syntax highlighting and has some weird ass rules
While I may be missing some things in between as to why it has some different rules, the queries are still written in SQL but due to the weird nature of the platform, I often make a lot of mistakes
I'm looking for a solution/any browser extensions/indicium clients that can at least provide some syntax highlighting and error squiggles (I'm ready to provide the external rules) to make my life easier, if nothing like this exists, I's prefer some advice as to how to go about creating a solution

Hi all, I'm a senior in Computer Science and I had an idea for a passion project website / app I would like to build. I'm just trying to gauge interest so I don't spend time building something no-one uses.
My idea was to basically have something super similar to Duolingo, but for high school and college classes. The way it would work is users (students) would put in their class syllabus / notes / lecture slides, possibly textbooks, and the tool would spit out a Duolingo course for that specific subject. What I mean by that is the course would be divided up into 3-4 sections (each section = 1 major test for the class) that each have a level map with 8-12ish levels (lectures) similar to how the popular language learning tool Duolingo is organized.
Each time you click on a level, you go through a handful of different "mini-games" to learn your class content. These "mini-games" would be things like long-answer, short-answer, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, matching, etc... basically different types of question formats. I want these "mini-games" to also have domain specific things like coding terminals for programming related classes, math visualizations for math related classes, cell diagrams for biology and a bunch of other stuff like that for different majors.
Much like Duolingo, it would also have lots of heavily gamified elements as well. I want it to have (friendly) competition with your friends so you'll be more held accountable for studying, something like leaderboards basically, and I also want it to have progress tracking for each subject as well (like if multiple subjects are covered in a single lecture), and I want the tool to be enjoyable to use in general.

This really made me realise that Hasan and Frogan exclusively care about the suffrage of Arab people when it comes to geo political matters. They proudly don’t give a fuck about Uyghurs,Tibetans, Ukranians, Sudanese or North Korean people. Is it because they don’t see them as equal to Arabs?
