2025.02.01 21:59 Bit-o-Cake 4 days out from laproscopy and still hurting pretty bad
I had robotic laproscopy to remove 2 cysts (one being a large, benign tumor), and 2 endometriomas from my ovaries, and general endometriosis tissue from my diaphram, fallopian tubes, and rectum. It's been 4 days, I'm utilizing tylenol and oxycodone for pain, but it's still very painful. I always thought I had a high pain tolerance, but im surprised by how painful everything still is. My incisions look very good and clean, but im still very swollen. I'm trying to walk at least 20 minutes a day, aiming for closer to 40, but the pain makes it difficult. Everybody says 4 days out should be a significant upswing, but im starting to get a little concerned. I have experienced some general improvement to the pain, but compared to what I'm seeing in others, it does seem slow. I'll definitely make more of an effort to move through the pain (before surgery, i was very active with regular workouts and my legs do feel totally fine, no swelling, pain or discoloration there), and I haven't had a bowel movement yet so I'm taking some stool softener today. Just curious if anybody else has had a similar experience. I'm thinking it could be gas or due to bowels (the pain does seem to roll in cramping waves for the most part), but not entirely sure. Thoughts?

Hey guys, I have been in the bench since joining in the company as a fresher. I was given training in Drupal and allocated to a project..then released in a month without being given any work. After one year, I was put in loss of pay for a year during which I need not come to office. I was planning to do my masters at that time. But I was told after one year that my loss of pay period will end and I will be paid, also I have to report to office. Now its been 7 months, I was given training in Appian( a low code platform) but still in bench and getting salary. I want to switch to some other company. What can I tell about my experience at this company? Can anyone guide me on switching? I'm currently learning Java and DSA from Kunal Kushwaha's playlist.

So I went down a Wikipedia rabbit hole based on the Reindfleisch Massacres and found myself reading about blood libels.
According to Wikipedia, these were accusations against (primarily) Jewish people that they had murdered Christians. This was then used as a justification for murdering Jewish people.
My question is that it seems like anti-semitism has been a part of Western culture for a veeeeery long time, so is that solely because "they" blame Jewish people for killing Jesus or is there another sociological reason for this paranoid witchhunt?
Ps: I'm asking about pre-modern history, so let's ignore the nazis.

What's up guys, potential new member to the mazdaspeed3 community here. I need a new daily and want something reliable yet peppy. I've done a little bit of research on these and learned the sort of things to watch for when buying. But being that I'm not super familiar with mazdas I figured this might be a good resource. Posting screenshots from a FB marketplace listing. Along with the details. It is a 98k mile vehicle. From the somewhat limited photos I feel it's a clean LOOKING vehicle. Having a background in a bodyshop I do raise an eyebrow to the misaligned body lines next the right headlamp but outside of that I don't see cosmetic issues. Asking seller for more info. Please give me your thoughts!

I have never felt so free in my life. From 16 - 17 I was under the coercive control and emotional and physical abuse of an awful man who learned this abuse from his dad. I am so grateful I had this experience because it taught me how to recognise the signs in a man. I have never been with an abusive man since because I run like the wind when I see the red flags but wow I feel so free knowing I could potentially stop him from doing this to another woman.
