So I live in India and I'm currently 16M ( will turn 17 on 23rd feb) and I'm 5'6 :( Now the average height in india is around the same. So i wanna ask the girls how would you view a guy who's 5'6 ? Cause I see a lot of taller guys and honestly it just shatters my confidence and gives me an enormous amount of insecurity. I personally think I look good but my height has been my biggest enemy till now. Is being short really that bad ?

20yo newcomer uni student , been in Montreal for the last 6 months , and I struggle finding what to do on the weekends , I just go to the gym or go grab a coffee , or try new restaurants by myself,
I work full time 9-5 all week and go to uni then the gym on the evenings so I finish pretty late , almost no time to socialize , I just have 2-3 friends since Iâm here , tried bumble , hinge etcâŠ
I should also mention that Iâm introverted but really making efforts

Context: My boyfriend is always with his family and nephews (babies and toddlers). He loves his nephews so much. He would send pics and vids with them and I admire how much he loves kids. So do I.
We have been dating for 6 months but officially together for almost 3 months. Iâve made it clear at the start that Iâm not a casual girl, but a serious type of girl. He also used to mention things about marriage with me, like songs that could be good wedding songs for us. Themes, blabla. I did notice this die down a bit recently but i donât think too much of it because weâre still pretty early in the relationship. The other day though, he asked if I could tranfer a ring from my left ring finger because I looked engaged and joked asking who gave me the ring. Since we were on the topic, he also randomly asked about my engagement ring preferences.
However, just today, he made a comment while on a call with me about being a cool uncle, unmarried in his 40s. This comment bothered me because it seems like he has no intentions of marrying me? Like maybe he sees me as someone he loves right now and enjoys my company but doesnt see a marriage at the end with me. I cannot imagine not being married by 30. I donât know if this was a slip-up that may have revealed his true intentions or if Iâm overthinking it? He could just be joking around but I donât like the joke because it doesnât make me feel secure in the relationship. I date to marry, and I donât have any interest in staying with someone who has no intentions of marrying me.
Previous Attempts: Nothing of this new matter, but he did say before things about getting married. I just dont know though if honeymoon phase daydreaming lang sya or not.
I would like to ask if you this comment could be a passing comment, without any thought or if I should bring this up because it seems like we have different views?

I'm working on my statement of intent to the program and am interested to know more about how students find an advisor. I've read the study guide to the program; students are exposed to many disciplines of social sciences and the peer learning groups are meant to be directional as to how to create a research identity for oneself. This is super appealing to me and I am curious as to how students presented themselves to admissions committees without saying something along the lines of "I want to work with X because of their research on Y." I have my ideas gathered on what I would want to write my thesis in. Do I just share those? Advice appreciated!

I deplore Wize, from what I can Gather Skrill, does USD to Foregn USD accounts, basically free.
Investec charge very little for incoming USD.
If this is Correct, then it's Far cheaper than a swift.
I whant to build up my USD holdings, and only pull out rands when needed.
