Title sounds bad BUT context is that as both my mother and grandmother passed away (who i lived with prior) i had to move in with my geandfather, im currently 16(F) and moved when i was 14. The house is very old and hes never done any repairs. Its 2 degrees here in New York and theres no heating, the house is rat infested and has other wild animals roamjng through the holes in the ceilings (theres a squirrel in the hole in the bathroom) , and it has been confirmed to have lead. I have to PAY to live in this monstrosity so Ive deemed it unfair and as a result ive been using his credit card to the amount he makes me pay to cancel it out. For more context feel free to just ask

2025.02.01 22:09 Rand0m90s I have a bunch of Failure to Attends on my college transcript, and I am set to finish my degree plan this spring.
A little backstory here is that I am 32 and have been going to college on and off since 2011, which is the year I graduated high school. I have worked full time for most of this time, while overcoming many addictions in this time span, one of the big ones being alcohol. I even have a DUI that cannot be expunged because of the state I live in. I also have been helping my grandmother for most of this time, and she had a pacemaker put in within the last few years. I am persistent on showing that bad choices do not always define a person's future. I have been making my circle of friends the kind of people I can trust with not only myself, but my family when I start one. They're also good influences, and people I strive to be like in life. I used to hang out with a crowd of guys that really didn't care about my future, and I have had to forgive myself for not being a good friend to some of them too.
Anyways, I am set to finish my degree plan this spring. Much to my dismay though, my cumulative GPA is 2.6. My degree plan is 3.1, and I have quite a few Failure to Attends on my transcript. I am sure I cannot gain anymore financial aid for my degree, nor do I want to put myself more in debt. I just got a new job as of today (2/1/24), since my old job let me go due to conflict of scheduling last December. I have a payment plan of sorts already in motion, so that is more or less taken care of.
So how does one rectify this situation? I learned today of my overall GPA, and I was usually a 3.0+ GPA student. I've noticed my bad habits and found solutions to change them. I was a 3.2 GPA student in high school upon graduating, and that was without really trying. I never did withdraw from many classes, but I also did stop attending instead of withdrawing. My university has been more than helpful on trying to make my transcript look better in the past. However, I have relied too long on their good grace and really feel defeated about the whole thing. I'm ashamed of my GPA and how long it took for me to do this wondering if there was a way (or process) of how to bring my GPA to at least a 3.2?

I have been manifesting someone to love me for four months now and I use the law of assumption. Within that manifestation I also pray to Hecate and provide offerings and have used love spells on this person. I find that we talk sometimes, but I would like to talk with them more. I can’t tell if maybe we’re not meant to be or there hasn’t been enough time that has went by. My friends tell me if it would work out then I would have clicked with this person right away, but it’s been months and I don’t see progress. The reason I feel like we could be together is because they always come back for me even when we don’t talk.

I live indoors, inside a not so big tower. Sometimes I contemplate the nature with my very eyes, but I prefer a little far away, with my binoculars.
I'm not a complete Merlin, unfortunately, I've so much to study and have struggled so much with the chimeras my wrongs gave birth.
Talk about yourself is quite a shame in the wizard's world, but I won't care this time:
I. As I am almost ever indoors I have time and space to study and craft. I read more about philosophy and history, these are the subjects more refinatedly well written I found. Sociology, anthropology - just a few know the difference -, rhetoric, theatre and literature - principally the folkloric one - I've studying;
II. I'm studying poetry much more than writing. It's much harder than it seems, at least the true poetry - we're full of liers. Vittoria Colonna is stealing my sanity. A genius, off course, but hard to learn;
III. I'm starting a working out routine, I've small time and just can do - perfectly - a few of exercises, but I'm doing constantly;
IV. Musically classical. Essentially the lyrical sing. The destiny was not so merciful with me, giving me a musical learning since my childhood, and in this world thing are really expensive;
V. I like immensely the genre novella - far away different than the Novel - and I've wrote a few. Unfortunately I just loose the pleasure of write;
VI. Games? Just mobile. The only game I cared in this life was Euro truck simulator - we need destroy the Fine Industry before they destroy our pockets!
CAUTION: do not arrive in my tower without warning or... you-know-who will not have mercy of your soul.

I’m not sure where else to post this… but my words need to share my experience and I’m not sure where else to post.
I volunteered at a church this morning prepping food for a free community dinner every Sunday night. I brought my 3yo daughter with me as well so she could get out of the house.
I’ve seen the same man panhandling at a major intersection the past few times I’ve volunteered, so today I asked the kitchen if I could take a couple of items for this him. I grabbed a croissant donated from a local bakery, two small things of hummus from a restaurant, and added some strawberries from my lunch.
The man is still on the corner when I’m heading home, so I wave him over and over him the food.
He looks at me and says, “That’s disgusting. How do I know you haven’t fingered your butthole?”
I’m flabbergasted, because who asks someone that? But also, if you’re worried about accepting unpackaged foods, cool, but there are better ways to communicate that. He was in no way entitled to accept my offering.
Regardless, I assure him I did not finger my butthole. He denies the food, again emphasizing it’s disgusting, then looks in the backseat and see my daughter. He starts his next sentence with, “But you’re a MILF so.”
I say goodbye before he can finish and roll up my window.
I’ve offered food to people in need many times, and I’ve never had an encounter like I had today. Maybe it felt like a heightened experience because my daughter was in the backseat watching. Maybe it’s because of the overall vibe of America right now. All I know is I pulled away feeling angry, and frustrated that men like this exist.
