Now, before everyone goes crazy on me, I don't relate to Elliot Rodger in everything. I mean, like his loneliness and the way he was very socially awkward. I will never harm anyone like he did; he was a punk. But I can definitely see some qualities that I have that are similar to him. I think I'm very awkward in public and don't know what to say. I feel like I sometimes play the victim mindset. What do I do to overcome this?

Eu não sou uma pessoa q já se relacionou com muitas pessoas, foram só 2 namoros em toda vida, mas esses dois namoros terminaram exatamente da mesma forma, depois de um tempo a pessoa perde o interesse por mim, acaba falando cada vez menos comigo até chegar no fim e terminar o relacionamento. Nessas 2 vezes aconteceu a mesma coisa.
Eu não sei se eu sou o culpado disso. Eu não sou perfeito e tô longe de ser, mas eu tento fazer de tudo pela pessoa, faço mais por ela do q por mim mesmo. E toda essa situação me desanima um pouco pq parece q toda relação q eu tiver com alguém ela vai me abandonar depois de 4 meses. Depois de investir tempo e esforço pra um relacionamento funcionar e no final o desfecho ser o mesmo de sempre.
Isso pode ser culpa minha?

Will getting my teeth whitened interfere with my diet, I'm very strict on my diet, asides from having coffee i pretty much only eat meat, sea salt, butter, and eggs (i feel the best when i eat beef and eggs) and on occasion chicken, pork, wild salmon. So i decided to start the process of getting my teeth whitened which include leaving my teeth whitening trays in overnight which contain Carbamide peroxide and Hydrogen peroxide, i'm obviously not directly consuming it but small amounts are applied into the trays which go into my teeth and some will get caught in my saliva and ill end up swallowing, maybe i'm being paranoid, nevertheless wanted your guys output. TIA!!

I was admitted to the Health Science BA program and am excited about it. I reported the following grades in my application:
Biology 12: I got a 93, which matches what I reported. English 12: I predicted an 85, but I may actually achieve a score in the 90s, likely around 88 or higher. Math 12: I reported an 84, and I received exactly that. Law Studies: I initially predicted a 98 (based on my Social 11 mark of 98), but I think my actual grade will be in the 90-93 range.
Chemistry 12: I reported that I would achieve a 92, as I got a 92 in Chemistry 11. However, I’m feeling a bit concerned about the course and the teacher, and I think I may end up with a grade around 82.
Given these grade fluctuations, do you think my offer could be revoked by SFU? Thanks!

28NB (nonbinary) and i’m fully prepared to be attacked and berated for this, i understand that i live in a very conservative country and reddit is a very right wing place so will be deleting within the next hour, or maybe a few mean comments will thicken my skin but pretty much exactly what the title says
I have 2 jobs, my own apartment, various enriching hobbies, a decent friend group, and I’ve still been stuck single for the past few years. i’ve gone to therapy, i’ve talked to both male and female friends about it, i’ve sat in isolation and “worked on myself”. i’ve gotten the stereotypical “any girl would be so lucky to have you” from most of my girl friends. i try to be a safe space for women. so i’ve narrowed it down to either being because of my gender identity or my race. insane jump i know, but i can’t think of what else is so wrong with me?
and good lord do i actually fucking hate being black if i truly sit down with it. its reached a point where i’m considering assisted sucde because a life in a world where most of the population views me as less than human just doesn’t seem like a life worth living to me. also upon doing research, i’ve found that black people regardless of gender are statistically the least likely to ever marry.
being in a black body feels so hopeless to me most days, and i genuinely do not know what to do about it.

 | This may not be the right page for this but kinda lost where to ask. (Please ignore the dirt and grime, I am working on cleaning it all out just difficult to do so). So I have this commercial sink faucet, it has a sprayer as seen here. The handle for the sprayer has become extremely loose and I ended up removing it as seen here. It depresses a pin to allow the water to spray out. But I cannot figure out why it has become so loose. I don't see any way of tightening it, but it does appear as an O-Ring may possibly go around the base of it? Can't find any info on this faucet online. Only making is what I showed in the photos "MJ". No other info I can see in it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as to why it has become so loose. I work in a public school in Missouri. ICE has been around our area and we have quite a few immigrant students, our district is doing NOTHING to prepare us for what happens if they come to the school. I have been told both that we legally have to let them in. However, I have also been told that they need a warrant to come into the school. But I have also been told that if superintendent/building admin say they can come into the they don’t need a warrant. I just feel very lost about how to best support the students in my school. I can’t find an answer, please help!!!

2025.02.01 22:07 Ajax-6142 Has anybody else experienced sleep paralysis visual distortion or hallucination similar to this?
got home from school one day and decided to take a nap so I layed down and dozed off. I woke up soon later paralyzed and my ears ringing very loudly and the ringing got louder when I attempted to move. I noticed I could move my toes so I tried moving them. When I moved my toes my vision went red and distorted in only a way I can describe as computer glitching, artifacting, or screen tearing. I kinda freaked out and tried to calm down and stop moving which stopped the visual diatortion/hallucination. Once I could move again I decided to just watch YouTube then go back to sleep. When I went back to sleep I woke up with sleep paralysis again and I decided to move my toes and see if the hallucination happened again. The same visual distortion happened again accompanied by vibration in my ear that vibrated in the pattern I moved my toes. The sound was similar to closing your eyes really hard and it stopped when I stopped moving my toes. After I could move I googled anything that might be similar to this but nothing would match the description of what I had experienced. Has this ever happened to anyone or something similar? I can't find anybody online who has had an experience like this.
