2025.02.02 00:31 Antique-Bed-7337 An idea for anyone to use.
Hello everyone, I love looking at custom magic cards & have even tried my hand at it a few times but I'm no good at it. I have an idea & it may be inspiration for anyone up here. (If this is the wrong place to post this, I'm sorry. I thought it would be okay to just talk about an idea.) The following idea is one that I've had since "Choose a Background" commanders were released. This may be a long post, but I wanted to explain it to its fullest. This isn't a competition or anything, just letting people far more talented at making cards than I am about an idea & maybe inspiring you guys.
Commonly there are 12 Knights of the Round Table in Authurian Legend. (It can go higher but that usually is the baseline) 12 is perfect for Wizards to print their own versions & seed them into packs like the Transformer cards were in Brother's War. You could do all 10 guilds & they be 2 color or all Shards/Wedges & they be 3. Then you have the Arthur figure as 5-color & 1 spot left for a colorless knight. (this doesn't have to be an artifact.. he could just have no magical prowess.)
Then, they could make 12 different Legendary Artifact - Equipment with their own effects & pumps. These equipment pieces could implement the "choose a color" aspect that Clara Oswald from the Doctor Who set had.
Together they would work as how "Choose a Background" commanders work. I have nicknamed the ability "Armed Nobility"
I would love for the knights to each be fleshed out as 3-colors & each weapon having the "choose a color" mechanic. This would be perfect for bringing in more 4-color commanders without them just being used for Good-Stuff piles in Cedh.
Lastly, they could use different creature types instead of 12 Knights. WotC could just use the "Syr" term & make the cards flavorful enough to show it is a nod to The Round Table.
TL;DR - I've had an Idea of Legendary characters who can have a legendary equipment as a "partner" for commander. This is just an idea & I am not skilled at creating cards. I just wanted to get the idea out.

2025.02.02 00:31 Amiga5001 Will custom PBO settings degrade an AMD Ryzen 7 7700?
I was messing with the PBO settings on my non-x ryzen 7 7700 and got some nice results in cinebench r23, about 2000 points more. Now, that does sound nice but that got me thinking... Even though the cpu is undervolted with the -30 curve otpimizer (+200 pbo clock offset, pbo limits set to motherboard) while doing Prime95 small FFTs, the power consumption is as high as 180w. Thats quite a bump over the 88w stock PPT limit dont you think?
Wouldn't that degrade it?
I have it paired with the Gigabyte B650 EAGLE motherboard.

Twice in recent weeks, I will log off the app, so I can find a place to stretch my legs and use a restroom. After several minutes, the alert will go off with a customer needing a ride! I turned it off, it said I was off-line! I'm sorry, my bladder is more important than a pultry $4 trip that will 99.9% not leave a tip.
Is my phone tripping out, or has anyone else ever experienced this?

2025.02.02 00:31 JayPhilter String stuck in bridge (help pls)
 | Hey guys, I recently got this Strandberg Boden Original NX8 and decided to put some lighter strings on it, as the stock 84 was a bit too chunky for my taste. I decided to try an 80 and perhaps even move down to 74. Elixir is my go-to for strings, but I did not realize that a tapered ball-end was a necessity. When I tried to insert the 80, it wouldn't go in all the way. I (foolishly) thought maybe the string will need a bit of help to get through, and once I put some tension on it with the tuner it'll go through all the way. That was definitely not the case. It went through a little bit, and now is very much stuck in the bridge, and I can't seem to get it out. I've tried pulling and twisting with pliers but it won't budge. I'm honestly kind of disappointed that this even happened, why can't I just use strings from my preferred brand? This seems like a pretty serious design flaw in my opinion. I can't be the first to have this problem right? Hi Reddit, I’m essentially a points newbie as I’ve just been hoarding them since I got my Chase Sapphire Reserve card and using them sparingly to shave down the cost of some flights via the Chase app. I have about 101,000 points right now and want to utilize them as best I can for an upcoming trip to Sofia, Bulgaria for a friends wedding, with 3-5 days in Istanbul in between. I need to leave 4/30/25 (5/1 at the latest) from Cleveland as her wedding is on 5/3, and want to return between 5/9 and 5/11. How can I make the most of my points? The first and last time I ‘transferred to travel partners’ I calculated wrong and essentially threw 10,000 points in the garbage. Thanks for your help!

I’m having an issue where the poster art and background art are not displaying, but only for one show. It works for all my other movies and shows. This show was just added today. I have poster and fanart files in the same folder as the tv show with the same naming convention as all my others. I went to plex and it wasn’t displaying either, but I manually added my image files to plex and now it displays properly, but I’ve tried refreshing infuse with no luck…
Any advice?

Today I got a bit done. I chose to saw off most of the base figures chest in preparation for sculpting. I'm now left with some parts that I'll hopefully use one day.
Anywho I also sculpted a portion of his right leg And last but not least I'm one step closer to finishing the headsculpt. His head now has a noticable weight and I finished the left side of his jaw. Plus now he has a noticable under bite. He now has his two teeth.

 | Howdy. I don’t post on Reddit much, so forgive me in advance if this is posted in the wrong place or subreddit. Also, let me know if anyone needs more pictures for context. I think I just got the deal of a lifetime on a massive P-51 RC plane and I think I’m in over my head. The gf and I went to a local estate sale just to look around to see what they had. I had just mentioned to her yesterday that I was considering buying an RC plane, as I used to fly them when I was a kid. We went upstairs and I couldn’t believe my eyes. A massive P-51 RC plane, covered in dust and laying in pieces on the bed. I have not flown RC planes in probably 15+ years and none on this kind of scale. I quickly looked over the plane for any major damage, grabbed a a box of junk that came with the plane, bought it and brought it straight to my local hobby store. The guys in there loved it. They said the plane was older (about 10 years old?), so finding parts might be hard. But they told me what they could about it, tested all the servos (which all work I think?) and sent me on my way with some tape to fix the part that came off the wing. I’m posting here because I am absolutely overwhelmed. This plane is massive and seemingly expensive. I feel like one wrong move and I could ruin a potentially very nice plane. If anyone on here knows anything about this plane, where to find parts and whether or not I should even attempt to get this off the ground with my lack of experience, feel free to info dump in the comments.
