2025.02.01 22:11 cc51beastin 2015, what should I realistically get done on a budget
Like the title says, what should I realistically get done maintenance wise that I haven’t yet?! I am on a budget, and I know there’s going to be some doomers in here saying I should get a bunch of stuff that, yes should be done, but I may not have time for.
2015 with 148k, I bought it at 70k in 2020. I do regular oil changes myself and keep up on the fluids if needed, but I’ve never changed my transmission fluid or given it a tune-up.
I guess what I’m asking what is the bare minimum I should have done now, and what should I budget for.

Out of nowhere my mind is like I want to end things etc and it’s like stuck in my head, I also feel like something happened and it will never be the same between me and her and then feel like I’m loosing control. It’s scarring me how real it feels. Is it just ROCD? Last week was great and we spend amazing time without me thinking about all of this. We did argue but always communicate and want things to work out. I’m in therapy and they are too. I have no idea but it feels just real, like it’s my decision. What to do in situation like that? I should just don’t pay attention to it?

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS A POLITICAL THING
I am graduating soon with a B.S. in Chemistry. I have research experience in analytical chemistry and organic synthesis, will be published by graduating, but want to skip going for master's and get a PhD.
The issue is, I'm a woman and the U.S. federal government is freezing NSF, NIH, and other STEM funding and is threatening to cancel anything they consider DEI.
So I need advice:
Should I apply here in the U.S. or should I start looking into programs in Europe? I speak 3 languages currently and would be open to integrating into a new culture and learning a new language so I am open to outside of the U.S. and Europe as well.

hi i’m a sophmore in high school and i’ve always been interested in psychology since middle school. recently i’ve also been interested in neuroscience as well! i want to be a psychiatrist/neuropsychiatrist (doing both clinical work and research)!!! i’ve been looking into colleges so far and i’ve really looked into UMich, Emory, WashU, Ohio State, and Princeton. currently i’m taking honors chem, honors english, honors geometry, and ap world as my core classes. next year i’m planning on taking ap chem, ap lang, ap pre calc, apush, and ap psych. i have a 3.7 uw gpa and a 4.8 w gpa, no ecs except that i played jv volleyball freshman year and i plan on doing tennis and wrestling next year. i also plan on volunteering at my local hospitals. i have a few ideas for a passion project but other than that idk what else to do to stand out. HELP WHAT MORE SHOULD I DO?? i would love advice from people that had/have the same major as me!

So when I was 16 I started working at a subway and worked there for around 4 or 5 months and was fired in December. I had a dream a few nights ago where I was playing a really cool game and I wanna make it in real life now but I know next to nothing about programming/game making so I came here to ask questions and learn some stuff.
The game's basic premise is you're stuck in purgatory and you've gotta make your way through an infinite mansion (infinitely generating rooms that spawn in and as you enter the new room the old one despawns) fighting all sorts of demons/evil spirits trapped/possessing each large room. (rooms in purgatory are different then rooms we're used to, there's rooms that have 2nd and 3rd floors and multiple sub-rooms in one large room). Along the way you're given various objects that can help and/or hinder your Sisyphus-like task of exercising an infinite mansion. I want the game to be more like Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion but with hand drawn artwork (that's what it looked like in the dream). Any tips/advice/help would be awesome :D thanks for reading if you made it this far too :)
