2025.02.01 21:54 danshat Low 4070 GPU score in Passmark randomly but not in other tests?
I bought an MSI RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X E OC, but noticed a weird pattern.
I've ran a few Passmark GPU tests and found out that I have REALLY low fps in all of the tests. The score is 13000, when normal score for 4070 is around 26-27k.
That's when I reinstalled the driver and Windows afterwards and the problem was gone for a bit but went back after a couple reboots. I had 90 FPS in DX9 test when normal was 310 FPS. GPU-Z states that perfcap reason is VRel, the GPU load is 100%. At the same time, roughly 50% of all the tests I've ran were normal with 310 FPS and an ok score.
Whenever I get low score with Passmark I instantly run a Time Spy or Furtest. The scores in these tests were ALWAYS good for this GPU. What could be the reason for this?

2025.02.01 21:54 nonamenomad12345 The game has become quite boring in divs...
- majority plays meta
- from div2 and heavily relies on AI defending. ControlS CM etc and just runs back without even trying to intercept any pass. Just waiting for auto interception.
- kick off exploit is back and after scoring players behave like they are brain dead.
- no variety in players at all or tactics. Hardly ever i see someone playing for fun now.

Hi all - I've googled but haven't seen this specific issue, hoping someone has run into it.
For the Touch Of Metal question, when you've got the hacked brain and are supposed to meet an atlas station in hyperspace. I start the pulse engine, get the notice of an anomaly near by, stop the pulse engine, start the conversation with the atlas envoy, and when it says to present the hacked brain and I hit the button to proceed, nothing happens. I stay right in front of the atlas envoy, background sounds keep humming, and the controls are working (sort of since your frozen at that moment), but nothing happens next and I'm stuck there with only crashing the app as an option to get out.
Has anyone seen this? Any tips to get through it? At this point every time I start the pulse engine I get the notice, and the envoy station appears (in multiple forms) every time I drop out of pulse (even if I'm heading to a space station), so it knows I haven't finished it but something's up.
