Can we start putting up billboards with short and simple messages or even just Trump quotes (for example, “Take the guns first, go through due process second”)? 2025.02.01 21:41 Mother_Relation_9055 AITA for not allowing my son’s friends to come over to my house?
I (37F) have a son (12M) and my son is the sweetest boy ever he does good on all test, focuses on his sports (golf, rugby and track and field) and goes to church every Sunday. However is friends are all 12 we will call them Josh, Kai, Lucas and Sam and my son Alex.
I have a good job as an orthodontist that brings in £150,000 a year meaning I get around £12,500 a month and after bills, shopping, etc I have £2,500 left on most months. I live in a fairly big house with amazing neighbours.
My son goes to a private school near us and that is where he met these friends of his. I will be honest and say the first time they came to my home I was already put off of them as was my husband (40M) whom we will call Mark. The 5 of them came to my house and wrecked it! They went into my daughter’s (15F) room and stole some of her expensive branded things: some brands they stole from her were Hermés, Tiffany & Co and Van cleef. They stole her pink Hermés blanket, Tiffany bracelet with the teal heart and her vintage Alhambra bracelet from Van cleef. I was disgusted by that because altogether that would’ve costed us around £6,325! I obviously messaged their mothers asking if they had any idea where these items were and they were all trying to help find them but they couldn’t.
The second time they came over I saw Kai go into a guest bedroom and stuff something into his bag, once they all left I went into the bedroom and a Hermés ash tray that my grandmother had gifted me was gone and that was my last straw. We easily replaced my daughter’s stuff but this ashtray was no longer made and my grandmother passed in November.
My son asked this time if they could come over and I said no and I don’t want them back in my house. Then I received a group chat message with me and the other boys mums from Sam’s mother saying “Hello, my son just got told by Alex that he is no longer allowed at your home because of stuff going missing? I can promise you my son wouldn’t steal anything from your home.” I was in shock by her saying that he wouldn’t steal anything from my home as if there was nothing worth anything whilst Sam’s mother is a primary school teacher for a public school so it’s not as if she could afford for her house to be better than mine.
How can I get my stuff back and AITA?

I’m in 8 week courses and neither of the courses I’m in currently (ENG 111 and AOLS 101) say anything about either exam in the syllabus. Do most online courses use projects or should I expect to have to go to a campus at any point?
