Hi Everyone,
I work at an R1 Research Institution, and we officially kicked off our project to move from Ellucian Banner into Workday HCM and Finance. We are working with a system implementator, and it is helping us throughout the process.
I am the function lead for HCM Data Conversation, Security, Operational and Analytical Reporting & Prism, and Integrations.
Has anyone made the move from Banner to Workday? I am starting to get our Clover templates ready but wanted to know if any can provide guidance or suggestions on best practices for this process.

2025.02.01 22:08 shades_of_jay LEDs are an environmental scourge
Now that I have your attention. I have no problem with LEDs and actually am grateful for the efficiency, flexibility and creativity they enable. But what I’ve begun to realize is that a proliferation of cheap Chinese electronics and use of integrated LEDs in fixtures is contributing to an extreme amount of waste. I made the terrible decision to buy some integrated LED ceiling and closet lights off amazon. Within 6 months all of the closets lights failed, that was 9 fixtures that went into the garbage because… nothings replaceable. Same with the ceiling lights, 6 not inexpensive fixtures needed to be replaced after 3 years. Of course all of these required an electrician to replace as well as they were hardwired. I also just noticed a bathroom fixture with 5 big globe lights are also integrated LEDs, not bulbs, so when one burns out the whole fixture goes in the trash. At least I know that going forward I will chose to pay more for higher quality fixtures that will save me money in the long run and not use any integrated LEDs in always on situations like hallway lights - those always will use LED bulbs.

Hi guys, recently I've been having a recurring issue where my mob 6 randomly twitches to the right on the roll axis. It still flies, but the twitching is very annoying and often destabilizes me. It went away for a while, but after a bit of flying its back again and doesn't seem to want to go away. I only got this drone about a week ago and I'm a pretty new pilot so I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me out!

Idk what the last couple updates did but I am constantly laser beamed by PMCs. I’m peaking a corner silently? Head eyes. I peak 50/80/100 meters out? I’m getting railed with bullets automatically, if I don’t constantly move L/R I’m dead most of the time it’s one shot. How are they so accurate shooting so fast?? I go to a different position, peak and I’m eating bullet. Wait it out, different position, same. I aim at a Scav walking away from me across a field? Tengo 22 y desde que tengo uso de razón soy incapaz de tener interés por las cosas, no puedo decidirme por algo en específico, siempre siento que todo el tiempo estoy en busca de algo, pero cuando creo tener eso que "buscaba" es cuando comienzo a sentir nuevamente esa sensación de ya no tener interés por nada de lo que poseo y comienzo a sentir como esa sensación de vacío e inconformidad me hace hundirme en mi habitación, en mi soledad, sintiéndose conforme al cohibirme de todo, conforme con pasar a ese estado en el que solo duermo de día, estoy toda la noche despierto perdiendo el tiempo, pensando en cómo sentirme mejor y que todo sea diferente, pero solo estoy ahí toda la madrugada a la espera de algo que se que no va a llegar.
No sé cómo dejar de sentirme así, pero nunca me he sentido diferente, además de ese vacío es una sensación inmensa de que todo va a salir mal, algo que elimina todo pensamiento de querer levantarme de la cama y hacer algo por mejorar, como si una especie de Venom se adueñara de mi cuerpo controlando mi cerebro y atandame a este suplicio que parece ser eterno.
Solamente quiero levantarme un lunes por la mañana y sentir que por fin esa sombra me dejó tranquilo...
Gracias por leerme, solo necesitaba desahogarme.

2025.02.01 22:08 RealCorp Poor Game Performance On New Build.
Looking for advice/to see if my build is underperforming. Ryzen 7600 with Radeon 7900 GRE and 32GB of DDR5 CL30-6000 memory. In Space Marine 2, I struggle to hit 75fps consistently on all ultra settings in 1080p. I can get a consistent 60fps but not 75 oddly enough. Same thing in Helldivers 2, on all ultra settings with super sampling at 1080p, I can hit 60fps consistently (with drops to low 50s on urban maps), but cannot get a consistent 75fps. Is this typical performance for my specs or is my rig underperforming? Would increasing my resolution to 1440p give me a performance uplift by putting more load on my gpu? Just looking to temper my expectations and see what my build is realistically capable of.

All electric motor that ran 3 hours non stop (plus the 12ft x 12ft the guy I bought from built), held two 80lb bags of sakrete (2.5 bags once, oops), finished my baby driveway extension (pics attached 2ft x 40ft x 4”).
This mixer ran great with the electric motor, DIY purposes. However, having used a gas concrete mixer equipped with a metal grate on top in the past, this mixer is not for people who want to make more than a yard of concrete - loading 80lb bags is killer. The opening is great when you need to pour the concrete - but with the drum spinning and the tiny opening it gets messy. Had to put it up on 4” blocks because the drum wouldn’t dump right into my wheel barrow.
Would I use this machine again? Yes, small jobs around the house. 1 yard of concrete, again? No way in hell. 3 yards or more? Pay the shortload price
I bought this machine used on FB marketplace for $150. IMO, not worth $300 ITC. If anyone in FL needs a mixer for a quick weekend job though…
