2025.02.01 23:01 RM9290 Pregnant and saw some blood streaks
Hi everyone. I’m so sad since I just posted a positive post LAST WEEK about how great I was feeling. I’m still feeling great and I have absolutely no pain or diarrhea or mucus or anything like that. I’ve had pretty consistent stools for months now. Every now and then I’ll get blood and my doctor said it’s still much better than where I was.
However this morning I went and definitely saw a streak of blood. The stool was super well formed, no urgency, and it even took a minute to get it out. The main issue is, I’m 9 weeks pregnant. And I’m so anxious now this is going to cause another loss. I have reached out to my doctor but I was hoping people could share positive stories of being pregnant in first tri and getting through it without affecting the baby. Especially since mine seems super mild.
Or even people with similar symptoms and maybe it turned out to be hemorrhoids.

I'm still buying all my parts, but I've now been looking for a case. The only thing I'm picky about is I want a plastic/acrylic panel and not glass, but I cannot find a case that comes with acrylic they all come with tempered glass. I've searched best buy, Corsair, etc and they all have said tempered glass with no option for acrylic. ATX case btw.
Where do I need to go or what do I need to do with my search parameters to get acrylic panels in my case instead of glass?
Any help is appreciated

I have an instinct 2s. Love my watch but the HR sensor is crap for some activities. I was looking at upgrading to an Instinct 3 but it looks like Garmin didn’t upgrade the sensor.

I'm currently a new grad who has been working on a telemetry unit since Nov 2024. I mark my 6 months in April, I wanted to get into the ICU as a new grad but wasn't able. My whole cohort struggled to get a job after nursing school because of how populated my city is. Literally everyone is an RN and my current hospital is so full they cancel nurses all the time. During nursing school we all thought hospitals were super short staffed but that's def not the case here. All the RNs on my unit are obligated to float to a step down unit atleast twice a month, since I'm new I haven't floated yet but when the step down beds are full we get step down patients on my unit. I care for patients who are a bit more critical in the sense that they are status step down instead of regular tele patients. I want to get into the ICU but idk how, I've applied to endless residency's and don't get in or the ones that do contact me don't offer ICU only medsurg. I can stay at this hospital and after 6 months if there's an opening in the step down, apply and then move up the ladder that way. I know I need to slow down and realize it can take a while to land the position you want, but I feel like I'm never gonna get there. I've looked at a few ICU positions in my area to get an idea and all of them require ICU experience. Has any nurse in medsurg/telemetry been able to switch to ICU despite all the obstacles??
