Fish (Pisces) are aquatic vertebrates with ectothermic bodies and adaptive features for aquatic life. These animals are cold-blooded as their internal organs cannot generate heat, prompting them to derive heat from their surroundings. Fish are aquatic vertebrates that typically have gills, fins, and a streamlined body. They inhabit diverse environments, from freshwater rivers and lakes to salty oceans and deep seas. Shared Characteristics with Other Vertebrates. Fish, like all vertebrates, possess a backbone or spinal column. They hold the basic blueprint for all different types of body structures found on the planet and has evolved into all sorts of unusual species. Fish (plural: fish or fishes) are a group of animals which live in water and respire (get oxygen) from their gills. As a group, they are much older than other vertebrates.  | Hello everyone! I just recently redesigned my fish tank🤗 What do you all think? I mostly have Guppies and Silvertip Tetras in this tank. Aswell as one baby Clown Pleco who is hiding right now. The plants on the left in the back are brand new. Thats why they are so small. Hello everyone, been reading this sub for past 5 months since i got injured around that time. I do not know if I even belong here actually, I had accident where i fell down the stairs 5 months ago , I broke my C5, C6, T4 and T7, injured my spinal cord in C5 ,C6 region. Right after the accident i could not move at all , neither hands neither legs, after few hours i was able to move my legs and hands till my elbows , pain was insane ( in hands ) , and my legs were numb so was my torso , i had surgery to stabilise myC6, spent 3 months in neck collar and very tight corset so only thing i could do was to work with my hands mostly, some PT but since a half of my body packed , motions were very limited ,so i did hand exercises 10 times a day , i would say 5 or 6 h a day just focusing on my hands , at 5 months now i have regained control over my fingers and pain has decreased steadily as wall , all i have left with right now is very tight torso, very strange feeling there , feels like i m still in corset even without it , but that is also decreasing, i m walking , and building my strenght back. I know I'm considered to be very lucky , even my surgeon told me that after the surgery , he very surprised that i m able to move around and walk from what he saw after the surgery. what i have been trough these months was insane , but probably nothing compered to most of members here, I do not even know why i am writing this , but it just felt i need to , like i said i do not even know if I belong here, just wanted to say that i have read most of posts here , and people here felt very caring and willing to hope and support each other, I just wish all the best , and happiness and stay strong , no meter what.
Pardon my english btw , I'm from europe , not and english speaking native.
