I always had problems with liking my hair, I remember that I hated when my mom caught and did my hair, because I thought it was horrible.
I used ponytails for years because of how much I hated how I looked with my my hair down, in the past 3~4 years, I decided to start letting my hair down when I cut it short. I still didn't feel pretty for a while but I also didn't feel pretty with ponytails so I just gave up and kept letting it down.
I finally have been feeling great with my hair since 2 years ago, I let it down and I actually like how I look now.
But, today I went to a party with my mom and this friend of hers was there, and today my day started since 7am and it hasn't stopped, this party was at 6pm so my hair has been down since 7am and it's obviously not as good as it was in the first hours, specially since it got dreached by rain earlier.
This friend of hers was with her step daughter and like after 10 min since we arrived she went to me and told me that my hair was horrible, that I didn't take good care of it, that I needed to do like her step daughter. At first I ignored it and just let her talk.
But she kept talking about it, over and over everytime I was even slightly close to her. To me the worse was that she went up to MY MOM to talk about how my hair was looking.
And my mom agreed, to add salt to the wound.
Like? To make my hair last the whole day, it will take like 30 minutes at least, and I didn't have the time to do this today, so I went with the usual that takes 10 minutes and lasts usually for 4~5 hours.
Her step daughter didn't have things to do and places to be since 7am, had time to get ready. While I didn't, I jumped from a reunion to a birthday lunch to this party and I haven't stopped at home since 7 am...
I looked at the mirror and I can't even look at myself feeling good. I feel ugly.
How do people feel good with themselves after telling someone that their hair looks horrible more then 10 times?

2025.02.02 00:50 Separate_Bike1683 Games randomly getting low FPS
This happened for the first time around the beginning of June of 2024. Every once in a while, maybe ever 1-2 months, my computer will randomly start giving me horrible performance on games. From Roblox to GTA, I'm averaging 10-30 FPS. I usually get at least 100+ on any given game. The first time it happened, I updated my drivers and I think that's what fixed it. The rest of the times it's happened, probably about 5 or so, it just randomly fixes itself like overnight. This just started happening again recently, and it's not going back to normal. I've tried air dusting my computer and stuff, installing new drivers, restarting my PC, and nothing seems to be working. I'll launch a game, and then 3 minutes later I started going from 30 to 120 FPS, and then it just stays at 10-30 FPS. What should I do to fix it?
I don't know too much about my computer specs, but I have an RTX 2060 Ti graphics card.

Just finished The Songbird and the Heart of Stone (crowns of Nyaxia book 3). What a departure from the first two books! It was like a psychedelic, gothic acid trip of wraiths, scars, and impending death. Took a minute to get into the rhythm and visual aesthetic of the story, but one l once I did, I was lost - in a good way. Also loved the connection between the MMC and FMC. It was ever present, but never shoved down my throat in the way that I feel some other books do. Can't believe I have to wait until August for book 4 đ«

Hello, I'd like to upgrade my gaming PC as the PSU is shot after a decade of usage. My budget is around $2000, but it can go over or under a few hundred. I have a build here - I don't know if this is a decent build or not? I don't want water cooling, I'm not sure if it's better to go for the 7800XD rather than the 9800XD, and I can't figure out a good GPU to get. I don't want to fight scalpers on the new cards. My ex says he has never dealt with RJ with his ex gfs. He has had 5 gfs before me and not once did he feel the way he does with me.
