so i brought up how i needed more quality time with the guy im dating. it’s been hard for us to match schedules since school and our jobs.
i asked if we could schedule in advance seeing each other once a week since we have been busy and this was his response.
“i can’t promise you that but i will try. im really worried about messing things up”
and i said: “well what are you worried about?”
he said: “i just overthink too much and i always mess things up”
i told him he can always come to me with his concerns. he said thank you but he never said anything about what i said.
now i feel weird reading it back idk he won’t elaborate but i tried to reassure him. but he didn’t reassure me

 | I am blue and my cousin is gray. For context; I have a cousin with divorced parents since she was a kid. She completely cut out her dad and siblings out of her life about 3 years ago for reasons unknown to me. I refuse to be involved in their drama. Her dad is my side of the family, and I regularly hang out with her sister and my family obviously. We don’t talk often as you can see in the texts that they are super far apart. I had reached out to see if she would like a baby walker and she said she would take it. Is it just me or is it weird that instead of trying to make more of an effort in the conversation, she kinda just cuts me off by saying “you can drop it off at my mom’s.” Like ??? You can’t tell me where you live at least? Or like hey, I’ll be at my mom’s house so and so day so you can drop off. (I’m not close to her mom like at all, to just be showing up.) The most recent text was today. I was going to run errands and would be in the vicinity of where her mom lives. I ended up just dropping the stuff off without knocking because she didn’t respond after I had finished running errands (an hour or so) and I didn’t want to make another trip just for that. But again, I literally ask “how are you” and she just gives me a half assed reply almost 4 hrs later, so I do it back this time lol AIO? Hey all, I wanted to see if I could get some guidance in choosing between AST and Pj. I’ve been beating my mind down constantly going back and forth between the two. Looking at both careers I know they can generally set you up for success for a career in EMS and especially the rescue side of things. That’s where I want to be. I also like the idea of tactical medicine with Law Enforcement, I like air ops and rescue in general. I’m curious as to what would set me up best. Do AST’s get their medic? and if they do how? Would one career be better than the other? In the end if I learn skills I wanna use them and be good at using them. I want solid call volume to learn and apply the skills and take them with me as I go. Where would be best for volume? I’m a 22y/o Ocean Lifeguard right now, my ift scores are solid for AST and Pj. I plan to have made a choice and join by 23-23.5 years of age. Any additional advice, experience or perspectives would greatly help and guide me in making this decision.
