I know this book series is having a resurgence right now due to... obvious reasons
I just absolutely devoured the books & I am in so much despair that Parables was never finished. Anyone else? I'd read Kindred before & I wrote an essay (and won an award!) about the parallels she drew between modern day "wage slavery" and chattel slavery. The loss of Butler was the loss of a true visionary. I am not surprised that she felt she was "blocked" from writing and depressed by the ressearch for the next installments.
Does anyone know of a way to read what was written of Parable of the Trickster?

 | O quanto você mudou depois de finalmente fazer o tratamento certo? Eu passei 5 anos da minha vida tratando pra transtorno bipolar - e não funcionava. Eu achava que só não tinha jeito mesmo… E nada adiantava: quetiapina, litio, latuda, lamitor (ai credo), etc. Depois desse tempo, finalmente encontrei uma psiquiatra que começou tratando a minha depressão e ansiedade e dps quis testar outros medicamentos e eu entendi o que era esse tempo todo: ele, o temido, a coqueluche do momento: tdah não tratado a vida toda kkkk. A minha vida NUNCA fez tanto sentido. Eu olho pra minha versão de antes e me acho uma diva, não vejo erro na minha aparência ou jeito de vestir — e eu sou muito feliz por não ter medo de experimentar nada de estilo, etc. É mais o que essa foto carrega: instabilidade, falta de autoestima, falta de confiança, falta de credibilidade nos lugares onde eu gostaria mt de ocupar (e o que ocupar exatamente? não sabia mt)… Enfim, uma menina perdida. Agora eu sinto q finalmente estou me encontrando :) hoje eu tenho rotina, procuro ter habitos, eu quero ter por merecer e eu faço merecer!! So basically all i remember is that it was some sort of a medieval animated movie where the people of a town were hunted by a big ungly creature who kinda looked like smeagle but much uglier and terifying. And there was this cool soldier guy who came in town and he was naked for some reason and he fought that beast and i remember he jumped on its back and killed it. After that it was a scene where the mother of the creature was very angry to hear the news. that kinda all i remember but i know it was teryfing seeing it as a kid
