Bummer! I decided that I’d create my own newsletter where I’d email myself and a couple friends videos every day. I figured if I’m gonna do that, I may as well open it to the public. So Yoga Daily was born – creative name, I know 😅 It’s totally free (I make no money!) and simply contains links to YouTube videos – one or two per day. Recently just received a stand by offer from NavCan for AAS in the Winnipeg FIR, with training expecting to start in August. Just wondering how many people have actually gotten a full offer after receiving a standby. The person I spoke to said that if I didnt receive a full offer for this round of training in august, that I might be eligible for one in the next round of training. Has anyone gone through this? Just trying to weigh out my options and plan ahead as much as possible, since I am in college now but am willing to drop it if a full offer arises.
I know it varies for which course, where, and when, just trying to gauge if my chances are relatively low or high.

Gonna be real here.... I thought Blake and Ryan were the "perfect" Hollywood couple goals. Their online banter, how they constantly trolled each other, how they always looked so in love with each other, like at the Met Gala last year or so when Blake's liberty dress changed and Ryan's look when he saw her was so cute. Obviously Hollywood relationships aren't the model for marriages, but still. I loved their relationship, or at least, the one we saw on the internet. To an extent, I modeled my own relationship after them. My husband and I are constantly trolling each other online. And it has been a significant part of our marriage and what makes us so fun and has deepened our bond.
And while I am dying over all this Blake Lively x Justin Baldoni nonsense..... I can't help but feel like a part of the fantasy that I once constantly played in my mind, was just that.
A fantasy.
Rose colored glasses. And now I feel like, I am grieving the death of a couple I once thought was #couplegoals. And honestly, i don't know how to reconcile that. Like I daid Hollywood isn't the place to base your relationships on, but still.
It makes me sad that the fantasy was just that, and the real Hollywood couples we should be looking at, for couple goals, maybe are the ones that don't try to feel like they are convincing the world they are amazing. I'm not sure of any of this makes sense. But does anyone else kinda feel this way? Like long time fan, and though these allegations are just that, allegations, it still kind of stings, and they are serious allegations.

I work for a small rural library today as I was at work in found out that one of our regular patron is banned for 6 weeks. He is banned because he picked a scab and was bleeding leaving a trail of blood from where he was sitting, on the furniture and even on one of my coworkers clothing items. This isn't the patrons first time being ban but this is his last warning before being officially banned for life, he has had multiple times where he has done this same exact thing and my director did nothing expect give him warnings. The library had to throw out computer equipment and furniture because he bleed on it. So I guess my question is how often are these the patrons themselves the issue or the library management?

Sinceramente, acho que o Brasil deveria considerar adotar o espanhol como língua oficial. Pensa comigo: a América do Sul inteira, com exceção do Brasil, fala espanhol. Isso nos coloca numa posição meio isolada, sabe? Enquanto todo mundo por aqui se comunica facilmente, a gente fica ali, com uma língua que só nós falamos no continente. E não é só aqui: o espanhol é falado em boa parte da Europa e em vários outros países pelo mundo. Se a gente falasse espanhol, seria muito mais fácil conversar com todo mundo, fazer negócios, viajar, trocar ideias...
Outra coisa: o português brasileiro é uma língua supercomplexa. Já parou pra pensar como é difícil pra um estrangeiro aprender? A gente até se orgulha disso, os mestres da língua são muitos convencidos enquanto a população inteiro não sabe 30%(chute e acho que foi alto) das regras, pensam como se fosse algo superespecial, mas, na real, isso só acaba nos afastando do resto do mundo. Tem gente que defende o português como se fosse um tesouro intocável, mas, pra mim, isso parece mais um jeito de se sentir superior, sabe? Convencido, mesmo. E no fim das contas, isso só nos limita.
Agora, imagina se a gente falasse espanhol. Seria muito mais fácil se integrar com os países vizinhos, com a Europa, com o mundo inteiro! A gente teria muito mais portas abertas, mais oportunidades, mais conexões. O espanhol é uma língua global, e o Brasil poderia se beneficiar muito com isso. Pra mim, isso é algo que a gente deveria pelo menos pensar a sério.
