I’m (24f) a long time Reddit lurker but finally got the courage to make a post to ask for opinions. So my husband (30m) and I grew up in different parts of South Asia but our cultures and upbringing were pretty similar, though we both went to UK for university. We got married almost two years ago and we moved here soon after for his job.
Over the time we’ve lived here my husband has expressed that he does not like how westernized I am becoming. For example, he didn’t like it when I wanted to celebrate holidays with our neighbor (who is a white man in his 30s) and his friends. He thinks I shouldnt be spending so much time in the gym where other men are there in revealing clothing and I am wearing revealing clothing, although he compliments my figure and says he likes that I’m slim.
He was very upset when I got a tattoo last year, although I understand why but he thought my justification was something an American would say. This might be tmi but I started fully shaving to give him a treat during sex and even though he liked it he claimed i did because of porn (which I admit is true and something I did immerse myself in more here) and he didn’t like that. I of course denied it as I don’t let on that I watch adult content.
It’s not like he is a religious zealot or something. He’s also pretty westernized himself. But maybe not as much as I thought. Does anybody have experience with something similar or how I can approach this.

Hey guys! I need your advice. So, I’m in ASAP, and to stay in the program, I need to take at least four classes. I received $1,395 in financial aid, and ASAP covers an additional $1,000. However, there aren't many classes left for me to take, so I had to enroll in AFL 161 as my fourth class. It’s not really necessary for my major, but I need it to remain in ASAP.
We had our first class on Monday, and it seems like there will be a lot of reading, plus the professor is very strict. Now, I’m unsure if I should keep the class just to stay in ASAP and save money or drop it and pay out of pocket since I wouldn’t be in ASAP anymore.
I’m also looking for a part-time job, and this AFL class seems like it will take up a lot of my time. If I drop it now, will it show up on my transcript?
What do you guys think?

I’m F turning 21 this year. Im starting to think I’m none datable.
Growing up I was the ugly fat kid but from 16 up until now I’ve started looking better. Not totally slim but more thick these days.
Started getting attention from guys around 17 ish but it’s been purely sexual. Never been asked on a date or been in a relationship. It’s come to a point where my friends fuck with me and call me “the fuckeble one”.
Some guys stick around even after I tell them I’m not up for casual fucking but once they realize I’m dead serious they leave.
My friends are all in relationships going on dubble dates and what not and I’m stuck here thinking I’m doing something wrong.
Ion not out here looking for a boyfriend either but deep down I’m a hopeless romantic so whenever a guy approaches me or starts talking to me I get my hopes up to realize “oh okay he dosent want to date me”

We have been excited to have friends and family come and visit us and already have a few house guests staying in the next few months. Originally my brother (family of 3) were going to come some time in August that we hadn't locked down yet. He asked this morning if my uncle and his family (4 people) could tag along as well. I told him we would discuss dates tomorrow. Then out of the blue I get a text from my mom this evening saying that she and her husband will be tagging along and told us they're coming August 24. They had discussed dates together (without even asking or speaking to us first). This felt really disrespectful and presumptuous. What if we can't get time off work? What if we had plans? We can't accommodate 9 people comfortably. What's the best way to go about this situation? We want to have everyone over, don't want drama, but also feel so pissed about the approach.
