as title states. i am in the market for a that i can use for the next 3-4 years while im in school. i’ve seen a few within the 50k-90k mile range that fit my budget. would that be something worth investing in? i know they depreciate and i do not mind that, i also get free charging at my workplace. going to be driving about 50-75 miles per day once i start school. should i be afraid of higher mileage model 3s?

I “was” in a position that is GS 5-7 about a month ago. They recently reviewed the position again and had us re-apply and now the same position is a GS 5-8 with a potential to 9. I was told me “EOD” date was Jan 27th and that I would report to work as normal, but I have not recieved the new sf-50 saying that I’m in a new grade potential. Am I supposed to get one? Do I wait? I’m 6 months probationary at a GS 6, and they said that I would still go to the GS 7 at the normal timing of a year after performance review. So do I wait til after my one year to get an sf 50 or am I supposed to get another one now?

2025.02.02 03:42 KaloLeto Is the MV7+ really supposed to sound like this? I don't think I sound as clear as I should and even my RODE NT+ sounds better to me.
I just bought the Shure MV7+ and I don't think I sound as clear as I should be (here's how it sounds right now). To me it almost sounds like I'm talking through an old microphone filter. It definitely doesn't sound as clear as I've seen of other recordings of it (scroll down to the recordings here to see what I mean).
This is using XLR with no modifications or EQ, and using a physical pop filter.
Is this really how it's supposed to sound? Do I need to just something? Thank you in advance.
