basically guys, i've applied for student allowance and a loan. i did have a part time job but i've had to resign for personal reasons and am on the hunt for a job. on my student allowance application i said that i recieved $300 weekly from my job (i haven't for a while now, but does this mean they'll give me like no allowance? cuz from this it means i'm making money? i'm the sole provider in my family atm but i am making no income due to no job at the moment and no one hiring/rejections. should i call student hubs to update them on my income situation? i'm stressing out guys, because i need to be able to cover weekly costs and WINZ said to take this up with stufylink since i'll be studying full time.

Hey guys, iām 18 years old and have been working at Costco pretty much since I first turned 18 and was able to. Anytime iāve ever made a post asking if it was worth it to climb through the ranks of management with Costco because the pay is good and the benefits are good, there is always people in the comments telling me āCostco should be a stepping stone jobā or āget a real jobā. Is this the common way people look at retail jobs?
I donāt know the way I see it is I can make quite good money, get good benefits, plenty of vacation and I donāt need to go into student loan debt because I donāt need a degree. In fact in the 4 years iād be in school getting a bachelors iām making money any spending time at the company. By march I should be making 21.50 and when I do my SIT for 6 weeks my hourly rate will be in the 30ās and qualify my to become a supervisor and make that my normal rate.
I donāt care to be āpassionateā about my work iād rather be passionate about my passions, and you canāt tell me these people are all that passionate for something like accounting. I definitely think that retail grocery store manager isnāt the most glamorous title but again a job is a job. One thing that does steer me away from staying with costco and climbing management is the amount of time it does take to get deeper into management. I think I can become a supervisor within 2-4 years and be making $33 an hour I believe and then become a department manager maybe within 10 years? they make around 80-90k. To crack 6 figures base pay it probably would 10-15 years potentially more but I have a strong work ethic and am able to do any job iāve been given amazingly so I think I could climb fast. If you transfer around it goes faster as well.
Is that general timeframe bad in terms of how quickly you can move up the pay scale? Thatās where I get stuck because at a certain point maybe itās worth it to get a 4 year degree and go into a different industry with more growth potential. One thing I will say is that itās a steady growth with good benefits and the job security at Costco is VERY good. That is one of my biggest reasons for wanting to stay, I hear of huge layoffs in so many companyās and industryās and Costco is known to have some of the best job security, just show up on time and donāt steal basically.
What do you guys think? thereās definitely pros and cons, I just want to live a nice comfy life and be able to do the things I want.

Do any of you here have experience traveling while on your days off and how that works for you? So I wanted to make a long rant post with everything broken with the rules yesterday, but they did an update and fixed most of it. However there is still a huge problem with some of the rules. The biggest one being.
What happens if you can not play a pl card?
On the first round of the game the rules state you lose the round, but after that radio silence. This creates a bunch of issues that you have no way to resolve without assumptions. To prove my point lets play an example turn. Starting from round 2.
Player draws back up to 5 cards then fails to produce a pl card.
There is no rules stating what happens in this situation, but i would assume like setup the player would lose the round. And proceed to the next round. Players discarding all played cards in the process..... but no cards were played.
Start the next round and draw back up to 5.......... player's hand is still the same 5 cards from last turn because they didn't get to play any cards.
Player cant play a pl card and i assume(because there is no rule stating what happens outside of turn 1 setup) that they lose the round again.
Repeat this loop x times until game is over.
And just when you thought it couldn't get worse.
What happens when neither player has a pl card. (Not mentioned in the rules at all)
I Would assume they tie proceed to the extra round and then play infinite extra rounds until they realize the game has no way to break out of this scinario. And there is no mention of a draw game in the rules.
Please gamersupps just pay someone to write comprehensive rules. Every card game has them. Without it players have to make a lot of assumptions based on other games. For example the definition of playing a card. I think I know what playing a card means because I have 20+ years of commpettive tcg experience, but exeptions exist. There are games where playing a card means something I am not used to like activating an effect of a card already in the gamespace. You might think thats only for sweaty tryhards but it does help people who have questions find awnsers to disputes in gameplay.
