Hello everyone! You have probably seen me before somewhere on either YouTube, Instagram or TikTok! I am the Goomba Toad guy who posts the really over edited Mario Kart clips with various songs! I am hosting for the first time a Time-Trial event for the month of December in our Mushroom Kingdom server!
Basically, everyone will vote for the track of the month and in 6 days time, I will create a submission spot with some rules, and you have all month to improve/submit times! At the end of the month, I will gather up the submissions and make a leaderboard. Here are the prizes for both 150cc and 200cc categories:
MK8DX: 1st = $100 2nd = $50 3rd = $25
I am also doing this for Mario Kart Wii as well for both categories!
MKWII: 1st = $50 2nd = $25 3rd = $10
Finally, I am also doing Mario Kart 7 however this will just be for fun. This is all just for fun! I have done this in the past, but this is the first time with real prizes! 2024.11.24 20:52 NYCoupl Anyone else feel like this season is a disorganized mess and hasnāt been that funny or interesting?
The funniest part of the past month was Frank and the prisoners and that lasted what, 3 days? This season kinda blows and is boring as fuck. Even the āchallengesā they been doing have either been not fully thought out or just repeating previous seasons challenges. Burt is funny but even that whole situation became stale after the first week of TTS.
Alex and his wife standout as being funny but even with that, weāve had what, 3-4 genuinely funny moments? Even the cell challenge fucking sucked this season.
I havent even watched the past 4 days and went to check online of what happenedā¦fucking nothing, except Mizzy getting the boot which was expected since 2 weeks ago.

I have a spider plant I bought at 50% off. It's in a sorry state. It was mostly outdoors in late-autumn here and unhappy about that. I just prunned all the dead leaves and a majority of the spiderlings off. I'm watering it next. Considering its sorry state and obvious lack of care given to it... should I give it some fertilizer? I wouldn't because of the time of year here (just started snowing), but would the fertilizer do it some good? It's going underneath my skylights so the lighting will be indirect lighting for now.

Iāve played origins and all the others prior to now and frankly, the ādark fantasyā tones of Origins is no darker to me than what exists in DAV. Thereās more overt racism in Origins, but the story and tones/objectives largely just boil down to ākill an entire group of people for very little reasonā or āsave the people and work things out.ā The āpolitics,ā if you can call them that, are surface level thin and always result in having the support of the people even if it makes very little sense in the greater scheme of things. The most intrigue we get is from the Dwarves but even that boils down to a macguffin hunt.
DA2 probably had the darkest themes, but only insofar that theyāre all of personal tragedy for Hawke and deeply local to Kirkwall until the end. Politically speaking, Inquisition is the deepest and it was loathed at first blush. DAV has a discrete narrative with a conclusion in mind to the previous major conflicts with Solas. It is a heroic narrative with a character whose role as a hero is defined from their historical experience prior to the player.
Just because the poorest district in Minrathous isnāt stuffed with people who hurl slurs at the player character and the characters we interact with (the people who literally free slaves and work with the group freeing slaves) donāt hate our elven characters doesnāt mean the area or story is bad. Just because the crows (who are loyal to their organization) donāt talk about their abuse constantly (even though they do bring it up a couple times) compared to Zevran who hates being a crow doesnāt mean those characters are horrible. The story being told is just different and has much less to do with those themes in particular and I think it is written just as well as the other entries ESPECIALLY if you also dig into the missives and codex. I really love the writing and find the cast to be some of the most realistic in their reactions and written speech of most modern games bar none.
