Lost my mom to cancer 2 months ago. It was horrible and her passing was traumatic.
She fought cancer for 5 years. She fought and fought and fought. She never let it stop her from smiling or finding a reason to laugh. Those 5 years took a toll. By the end she was essentially a skeleton and even though she was always positive I could see that her love of life had started to wane.
She died wrapped in my arms. I was telling her how much I loved her and how proud I was to be her son.
These past two months have been… rough. I’ve read through the NDE literature and I believe she still exists out there, just not in her human form. I’ve been praying for her to come back, to give me a sign, to visit me in a dream, but so far nothing.
Last night was especially dark and this morning when I was in between sleep and waking I heard a male voice say “she suffered here for so long, she isn’t quite ready to come back”.
I opened my eyes and it was just the stillness of my bedroom. No one there. I don’t know if it was just my weary mind or something else, but it all made sense. I can imagine once you’re free from your sick body and the pain of the earth realm it’s difficult to find the energy to come back.

Hey, just wanted to share my experience with how getting up in the morning to go for a run outside (2-4 miles) has absolutely changed my life and I think started the regrowth process for my alopecia. I see a lot more white hairs on my bald spots and my life stress/anxiety has gone significantly down.
I'm an over thinker by nature and combine that with the stress of being in college/working and a breakup my hair has suffered for the last year. But I thinking waking and doing something as productive for your health like running has really helped me and maybe it can help you too.

In the season 3 finale we learn that officer Acosta is named Dani. I’m assuming it’s short for Danielle. We’ve been told that her name was kept secret because much like everything else in this show it was done for a purpose. I looked up what the name Danielle means and got this interesting answer. I think it is interesting especially because this episode focused on how far someone would go, even if it meant doing something they’d never do. Definitely some judgmental things happening in fromville.
