2024.11.24 22:41 Unknownpotato22 I donāt know what to do and I need help
So Iāve been on a FODMAPS diet for a couple months now but after being recommended that I do some breath testing; Iāve been experiencing extreme discomfort, pain, the feeling of the need to vomit, extremely bad diarrhea, and the inability to eat anything or even drink water.
When I did my first set of tests, I was not aware I could not do the breath tests on the same day and only found out halfway through my second, Lactose, so I had to redo that one.
My first two that were successful, fructose and another one that I canāt seem to remember at this time, did not cause these issues. Heck, the lactose one didnāt even cause this pain the first time around.
I stopped taking all my meds that it said I couldnāt take for 1 week (took my test today, 11/24 between 10:35a-1:55p CST). I followed all the rules, but this time around, I feel worse than I do on my worst flare up days.
As Iām writing this, Iām a little under 3 hours post test and I still canāt eat and can barely drink water without feeling the need to vomit or running to the bathroom with diarrhea, dispite not eating anything besides a couple bites of mash potatoes after my test. Besides those three bites, Iām at almost 24 hrs since I started the fasting period and last time I could eat after my tests.
I donāt know if I should go in or wait it out because I have to work tomorrow morning at 6a. Iām scared and just want to eat š«
Iām a 20yo female if that helps any š¤·š»āāļø

Happy Sunday, all!!! š„° I have so much admiration and respect for all of you who post on here as you look fantastic, and so Iām hoping to solicit some input from you. Have you always had good self esteem, confidence, and image when it comes to your femme self, so to speak? Or how did you get there? For context, Iām a 6ft8 cis-male who is pretty thin in the legs and arms but has a big belly and is bald and has shit self esteem and image. Iāve also got a pretty prominent nose and side profile that I think makes me look weird as hell, and, judging by comments that I get randomly from people, apparently they all think so too. Iāve been trying to cope with the Allie side of me off and on again for at least the past 25 years if not longer and can never come fully to terms with it as I get super self conscious about how I look in anything feminine and end up purging all of my stuff. I figure that if I look weird as a āguyā then I probably look even weirder as a female and beat myself up as a result. How did you get to a point of accepting yourself? Or did you?
