Regional parallels in RLCS and NBA?

To preface this conversation - I’m from the UK, so I don’t know all that much about basketball, but been getting into watching the NBA quite recently.
I’ve been doing some research, listening to some NBA podcasts and I’ve been following some of the European players in the NBA such as Jokic, Doncic, Giannis, Wembanyama etc. who seem to be taking over the league.
Now I know the NBA is far far superior to any of the European leagues, however I’ve been hearing a lot of people say that the Europeans focus far more on the fundamentals of basketball and playing more as a team, whereas the American system seems to focus more on flashy individual brilliance (dunks and 3 point plays).
This makes me think whether the differences in EU and NA RLCS play really is something cultural. It’s quite obvious that EU tend to focus more on fundamentals and playing for the team and NA focusing on individual flashy mechanics.
I don’t know why this is the case but it’s definitely interesting to see the parallels in the 2 different sports. Anyone else notice this or agree with me?
Do you think it’s just a coincidence or do you think that there’s a cultural difference between the 2 regions that caused this?

i finished the main questline and then joined the imperial legion, after joining it i take over all the cities. i did the civil war truce at high hrothgar. as well. however when i go to kill ulfric at the battle of windhelm, galmar dies. and then when tullius tells me to kill ulfric with his sword. (orcish sword of absorption.) he just gets back up and stands there. along with legate rikke and general tullius just striking at him and he doesnt die. i tried everything from disabling his character to reseting his ai. its starting to seriously tick me off. the only mod i would see conflicting is conquest of skyrim or my windhelm mods, but i doubt they are the issue because i have used conquest of skyrim and still was able to kill ulfric. my windhelm mods are
jk palace of kings
capital windhelm expansion (with patches.)
Patches: embers xd esp-fe patch for 2.2.3 and l ater, ai overhaul patch, city entrances overhaul patch, jk skyrim patch.
jk windhelm outskirt
rob bug fixes capital windhelm expansion

2024.11.25 01:40 Still-Peanut-6010 Cinnamon roll help

Hi everyone,
I have some frozen GF pizza dough from Aldi's and I thought about trying to use it to make cinnamon rolls.
My thought was letting it thaw out. Then roll it out add cinnamon sugar and roll it up. I would then cut out pieces and place on a baking sheet to bake.
My other thought was cut in small pieces and roll in a cinnamon sugar mixture and throw in a pan and bake like monkey bread.
Does anyone have any thoughts on if this would work? Any tips for either attempt?

2024.11.25 01:40 Late_Entrance106 The books’ version of the Council of Elrond being a happenstance event is just way better to me than Elrond calling a meeting like in the films.

Gloín was there to report on the messengers from Mordor showing up to the Kingdom of Dale asking about the ring, Baggins, and promising rewards for information. He was also there to visit Bilbo and warn him that he was being sought after by the enemy.
Gimli was just accompanying Gloín.
Legolas was there to inform the others that Gollum had escaped captivity in Mirkwood during an orc attack.
Boromir was there because Faramir, and eventually himself too, had a recurring dream about seeking the blade that was broken in Imladris (aka Rivendell). A halfling and Isildur’s Bane were also part of the dream. Boromir insisted on undertaking the perilous journey instead of Faramir. He lost his horse at a river along the way and wandered for many days looking for Rivendell since none in Gondor actually knew exactly where it was.
Aragorn/Strider and the hobbits had just arrived with the Nazgûl in hot pursuit.
Gandalf had arrived a bit ahead of them having tried to draw some of the Nazgûl away I think.
It was ultimately part of Eru Iluvitar’s plan for them to meet there, but it was definitely not a planned council by Elrond. He was just wise enough to see this meeting as destiny, deciding that those present should be the ones to decide the fate of the one ring.
Even when Frodo speaks up offering to take it himself, the book describes it as Frodo feeling compelled to say it, or as if another was speaking through him.
Picture is sunrise just off the coast of Greece in the Aegean. I read a few chapters one of the mornings on top of the catamaran yacht my friends and I booked for six days (it was amazing!).

I just rewatched edge runners and I can’t seem to understand why kiwi betrayed the crew. She seemed like she regrets her decision in the end but what was it she wanted? If it was just money, why? 2024.11.25 01:40 schooly_j I’m thinking of getting mine removed but I’m worried about my iron levels.

I got it last December because my iron levels were dangerously low. I’m also almost 40 and not planning to have any more kids. It helps with my iron immensely. My levels have gone way up because my periods are much lighter and I’m feeling better in that sense. But I’ve been having awful headaches- sometimes they’re so debilitating that doubling up on advil and Tylenol doesn’t cut it. I started tracking them a few months ago and discovered that I get one right before my period starts. Plus I have less severe headaches all the time. I’ve also gained 15lbs this year without any major diet and exercise changes. Before that, I’ve basically been the same weight for the last decade. I have an appt in a couple of weeks to talk about maybe removing it but I’m worried about my iron. I also had frequent headaches when I was anemic so I feel like I can’t win.
Did anyone else get a Mirena to make your periods lighter and end up getting it removed? What are the other options? I can’t take BC with estrogen because of my age and because I recently started vaping again like a dummy.
