I'm 35. I am a truck driver who works 60 hours a week. I am growing tired of the slow process of investing. Have 180k in 401k in Black Rock S&P.
My employer has a crazy retirement plan. Up to 50% of employee contribution match. I.E. I put in 23k they put in 11.5k.
They also have a profit sharing once a year. That puts a potential of 20k in 401k a year.
All in all, if I put in the max 401k limit a year. Let's say, 23k. I would get potentially 55k total put in my 401k a year.
I write this because I missed a huge opportunity with a single stock LUNR, and I am stressing greatly.
I'm new to the company and once I found out about the retirement plan, I told myself that I would max it out every year and then just rebuild my savings after maxing out. Is this a sound plan? I know it is but I just feel left behind by some wall street bets posts.

Hi, I'm an international who moved to Finland earlier this year. I started a job with a startup, and things have been going well. However within a couple of months, I started getting salary delays, and the delays turned into unpaid salaries. The employer makes promises but isn't able to fulfill them. Most probably he hasn't got the funds to pay the employees. Keeping it short, what are my options here as my financial situation isn't too good? How can I deal with the problem? I'm new here and unfamiliar with labor laws. Also, I'm not a part of any union or anything. For now, I have stopped working but haven't resigned officially.
