okay so basically every once in a while I'm just chillin' and then I get these lines that kinda remind me of like worms or something (no they don't move) where I literally just can't see or read anything in that specific area, I think it's a migraine but my head never really hurts that bad when it happens so I'm confused on what it is, its only getting bigger as I'm writing this LOL

2024.11.25 04:40 ArtVandelayDesign Therapist went off on me intensely in a session and claimed she needed to do so
I’ve had the same therapist for awhile, but there have been gaps where I wasn’t doing therapy and then come back when I needed it. My therapist has felt different this time in demeanor and therapeutic style. It had been a few years since we last worked together. Truthfully, I felt like the style wasn’t working well for me and decided to really supplement with podcasts that featured expert researchers in psychology and I’d start finding lectures and reading their books and learning some great techniques.
The last session with my T was very strange and intense. I pushed back on an exercise she wanted to implement by claiming what I was doing already wasn’t what she wanted for me and I should do it as “prescribed” by her. But I kept saying the way I learned was an important part of my day. I said I looked up techniques and liked to do the way I’ve been doing it. It has been helping. There was a spat several sessions earlier where medication was brought up, but when I challenged her on a claim about a medication she then said I was lecturing her in her own field/expertise - but she is a master’s level clinician (not looking down on that at all) so it is not her expertise to speak about medication that I’ve been on. I did not say this to her, I just corrected her statement about the medicine.
Anyway, after saying I liked doing it the way I have been doing it, she started to claim that as long as she has known me I have been belittling her, that she felt I hated her, that everything had to be my way, that I did icky things and seemed scary/odd and that she could only take the frustration for so long because she’s human. It went on for a while and I was in disbelief since the session before had been good and I thought we always seemed to have good rapport. I asked why she didn’t bring this up years ago if it was a big problem and it felt excuse-like on her end. I actually was frank and said I felt that was an overreaction and she said it was completely rational seeing all she had been through with me and it needed to be said. I’m thinking something is going on for her personally because she made me feel horrible during a time I was doing better. She tried to make contact later that day, but I don’t think I will be going back or talking to her because I left feeling torn down and questioning everything about myself. I started asking loved ones if they felt this way about me and they were surprised a therapist would say these things seeing it felt focused on her feelings and not mine.

2024.11.25 04:40 No_Window8121 Hood not reading right
I have a 2020 Subaru Ascent premium, and have the starlink subscription, I cannot do the remote start due to it stating the Hood is not locked. I can start my car without any issues when I’m inside and there’s no indication that there’s an error unless I’m using the app. Has anyone else had any issues with their Ascent??? Or does anyone know where the sensor might be for the hood? I’ve had it for 3 years and added the starlink over a year and a half ago, and contemplating if I trade it in and get a newer one or take it to a Subaru dealership and see if they can fix it. Maybe there’s a recall for it that I don’t know about

I want baggy sweats that still flow without having the waistband being extremely thick. And as specific as it is I also don't want it to be JNCO baggy, I just want something moderately loose that isn't tapered. I've tried looking on depop but it seems that thick waistbands are more commonplace.

i personally haven’t seen anyone do this yet, but i was thinking today about the uniqueness of the names of the characters, and i was wondering if they had any significance. even if this isn’t necessarily intentional, im ngl some of these names do match up with the story, especially jimmy’s.
Curly: While this is his last name, (and there seems to be unsureness surrounding his actual first name) his name quite literally means coiled or twisted, though the name “Curley” with an added E often means “strong man,” which may be a metaphor for his position of power, and may also show irony regarding his lack of action when Anya made him aware of Jimmy’s assault. Also, his ability to keep going after the crash and being nearly killed, and enduring Jimmy’s torture.
Anya: Anya is a name of Russian origin meaning “grace” or “gracious,” which i believe could be a reference to how generous she was towards Jimmy despite the awful things he did to her. It could be irony as well, but i think this may be the weakest connection of the cast :(. (which I personally see in a lot of these names)
Jimmy: Now this one’s a real crazy one. I thought he had one of the most basic or boring names of the cast, but upon some research, I learned the name Jimmy means “supplanter” or “holder of the heel,” of hebrew origin. He replaces Curly’s position as captain and holds power over the crew, (especially Anya and Curly) literally matching the exact definition of his name. This one is super freaky in my opinion.
Daisuke: Daisuke’s name is of Japanese origin, with many meanings, but the most common ones seem to be “big” or “assist” or “mediate.” The “big” translation could be irony here, as he seems to be the youngest and least experienced of the crew, but he is forced to play a large role.
Swansea: This one was a bit difficult to find as Swansea is also the name of a coastal city in Wales. It seems to have Viking origins. Outside of the city bearing it’s name, the meaning seems to be “common man” or “farm laborer,” which could be a metaphor for his role in the crew, or irony. He definitely had a big role to play and could have definitely protected the crew at multiple occasions, but he seems to have stepped back instead, allowing things to occur, despite allegedly being aware of the horrors going on within the crew. It could indicate that he saw himself as just a laborer rather than a necessary part of the crew’s chemistry.
I didn’t explain all of these too well, but if anyone has any other thoughts id love to hear!! this was just some fun research because i find the cast names very unique and interesting:)

I already looked at the introductory post, I’ve tried doing my own research on all listing ps2 and below and with the wiki page of is it comparable I’m left with unanswered questions. Currently I’m thinking purchasing a handheld, a ps vita is nice, but it’ll be around in the next few months and the psp is more of just a nostalgic keep sake(I used to own the white case edition that came with rogue squadron and I had thrillville off the rails which I’m looking to just own again), but my hunt I guess is something that can play the 2004 ps2 transformers game and marvel nemesis ride of the imperfects, from what I’ve read it seems some devices can’t handle these games and I’m honestly not looking to spend three bills on a steam deck or other. Plus I imagine anything that can play these two game just play all psp, maybe vita(if not cool) and everything before. I’ll gladly delete if it’s against the rules, but thanks for the replies and time
