2024.11.25 03:00 John_Swift1 8-Step Personal Marketing Plan

A personal marketing plan is a written document that describes the business goals you expect to accomplish and strategies and activities you will do to reach those goals. A marketing plan should include: 1. Objectives and Goals. First, develop a big-picture vision for your business—become the top producer in your area, retire in 10 years. Then quantify that vision with measurable goals. Measurable goals might include: ■ Obtaining 50 listings in the next year. ■ Achieving a 60 percent name recognition in your target market area. ■ Receiving referrals from 75 percent of your past customers or sphere of influence. ■ Securing a 20 percent share of the market in your target area. TIP: Determine your market share by dividing the number of sales you made by the total number of annual sales in your target market. The result is your percentage share of the market. 2. Audience. Select one or two groups to target with your marketing efforts. Analyze the characteristics of your best prospects; other groups with similar qualities may be the best place to start. Characteristics might be: ■ Income brackets. ■ Age groups. ■ Geographic areas. ■ Ethnic or cultural groups. ■ Levels of education or certain professions. ■ Lifestyles, such as golfers buying second homes. 3. Differentiation. What makes you unique? Setting yourself apart from other salespeople is essential in a crowded marketplace. Remember: Customers choose products and services based on the benefits they deliver. Consider your own strengths and weaknesses, and focus on the qualities and skills that make you special to potential customers. Possible points of differentiation are: ■ Education—law degree, CPA, and so on. (Benefit: knowledge of legal and financial issues can make the transaction process easier.) ■ Residency in the neighborhood you represent. (Benefit: knowledge of available services, activities, and interests of prospective neighbors). ■ A leadership role in a community or professional group. (Benefit: first access to new ideas in the industry and sources of solutions to problems via networking). ■ A natural affinity for a certain group—seniors, for example. (Benefit: a special understanding of the needs and desires of that group). 4. Message. Select a message and sales approach that will grabthe attention of the people you want to target. Prospetitors and have an emotional appeal to your target market. An emotional appeal speaks to what people want security, a sense of family, financial security and focuses on their needs and desires. 5. Media. Select two or three media to convey your message and allow for cross marketing among several different sources. Media choices include print advertising, brochures, a web page, in-person marketing, community involvement, and so on. 6. Action Plan and Schedule. Basically an action plan is a to-do list for a set period that lists every activity you need to do to market yourself and your services. Consistency is a key component to successful marketing. Advertising experts say that people must hear a message 11 times before they remember it. Make a commitment to use one marketing approach for at least six months, and budget accordingly. 7. Budget. The most challenging aspect of creating a personal marketing budget is estimating costs. Rather than guessing, call your suppliers and service providers, tell them you’re preparing a budget, and ask them to provide estimates of the price you can expect to pay for each item. Ask your suppliers about quantity discounts and other ways to cut costs. The total cost for your personal marketing effort will depend on the size of your target market and the media you choose. 8. Measurement. Are you achieving the goals you set forth in your plan? You will never know if you don’t measure. Always ask callers where they heard about you, and keep track of their responses. Use small letter codes in direct mail to identify each piece for easier tracking. Analyze the results of your measurement and use your conclusions to update, revise, and improve your personal marketing Prospecting 17campaign. Don’t continue to spend money on something that isn’t working. TIP: One way to measure success is by the cost per contact. If you mailed out 500 brochures at a cost of $2,500 and received 10 inquiry calls, your cost per contact is $250.

2024.11.25 03:00 Kevin_AK3 crashing pc need advice

I'm at my wits end with this thing
decided to join the pc world after years of console and this was my first pc build so maybe im just an idiot.
My build:

It ran great for a while but one day it crashed while gaming and its been nothing but problems ever since.
When it crashed the screen went black and the audio bugged for a couple seconds. No BSOD. Then it rebooted but there was no video output through the GPU. swapping the monitor to the motherboard gave me normal functionality but the system no longer detected my GPU at all. like there was nothing connected at all. restarting does nothing but full power cycle by unplugging results in a normal boot GPU Seems to work fine nothing unusual. now it crashes every time i play any game.
After replacing the Motherboard it ran great for several days and i thought i had it fixed then it happened again and is crashing more and more frequently
it never crashes during stress tests (heaven, prime95, OCCT)
no errors in memtest
bios and drivers all up to date
tried building it in a different case to rule out the PCIe riser and it made no difference (also have a new one from Fractal in the mail)
fully tore it down and checked all the power cables and connections to make sure they were well seated
i don't see anything obvious in Event Viewer (i also don't understand half of what I'm looking at TBH)
My PSU was bought as an open box so i ordered a Corsair SF1000L on black Friday sales figuring i could return it if i don't end up needing it. it will be in later this week
i don't want to just keep throwing parts at it just to find out its a software issue
Any advice or help would be very much appreciated. please let me know if there is any additional info that may be helpful
Thanks in advance

2024.11.25 03:00 x_ace7 Last Ditch Ideas for Wheels?

Hi! I've been working my buns (fingers) off to finish my daily tasks (I have adhd so committing to anything for a week is super hard for me - ha) to get a Daily Task weekly reward that I've been wanting. I'm on the FREAKING LAST DAY and none of my wheels work. I've tried 3 different browsers, mobile, laptop, and also private browsing mode and nothing has worked to get my wheels working.
I messaged TNT about my wheels not working last week, and they were up for a few days, but now they're down again. I also cannot spin the Wheel of Celebration which is mildly infuriating.
Any last ditch ideas to not lose my weekly progress?
TLDR; none of my wheels are working and I don't want to lose progress, any ideas to fix it before the day is over?

2024.11.25 03:00 Alternative_Cold2913 Slip on vs lace up sizing

I'm a womens' size 9.5 - 10. REI recommends I wear a size 10 for hiking boots, which has worked out well with Merrels.
As for Docs, I've had a pair of women's size 10 Chelsea boots for years. They were great for the first year or so but eventually stretched out so much that I had to buy a little toe cushion to keep my feet from sliding around. Now I'm old and transitioning to all lace up/secured footwear, and I'm wondering if I should size down to a 9 to avoid the same issue, or will the fact that they lace compensate foprevent the leather stretching?
Thanks!!

2024.11.25 03:00 Century133 How do I become more consistent/finish what I begin?

I've realized recently that the amount of effort I put into something depends largely on a handful of factors, that either motivate me to complete something or act as an anchor that holds me down.
For example this whole day I went on autopilot and it wasn't until 15 minutes ago that I snapped out of it and did something I consider productive, which is writing this post. It seems that I get motivated if I know Im close to finishing something and am usually held back during the middle parts of a task.
Beginning is not a problem for me, in fact its one of my strongest skills. My issue is with making a consistent effort throughout the process. I wonder if you guys have any tips that help with this particular problem given my situation.
I appreciate any and all responses that attempt to help me, your kindness will not be overlooked.

2024.11.25 03:00 Forward-Ad8037 Transfer Eligibility w/APs (PLS HELP)

Hi! I had a question about transferring from UC to UC that is pretty nieche. Last year was my first year of college, and I transferred from UCSC to UCSB as a junior transfer (second-year student though). As of now, I still think I want to apply to Berkeley and LA even though I do love it here at SB (Haas and BizEcon at SB) since I feel like I will burn out from the SB lifestyle as I struggle to balance the constant going out and double majoring & minoring.
Can I actually apply to transfer? When googling I see this constantly: Unit maximum admissions policy: After applying the UC lower-division maximum transfer credit limitation policy, all juniosenior (upper division) and all UC units (lower division and upper division) are added to that total unit count. If the resulting unit count exceeds 80 semester units (120 quarter units), the student is ineligible for admission.
The issue is is that I currently have 116 units (before counting this fall quarter). I cannot figure out if my AP units (44 of the 116 units) count towards this maximum and if I am ineligible. At the current rate, I will finish my spring quarter with 172 units, which equals 128 when not including APs. However again, I can obviously chose to go slower to purposely sit at below said limit. My UC Gpa is currently 3.92 (its gonna drop though) and I am really not sure if i Should take this risk since I want to double major and minor. Please let me know if I should consider this

2024.11.25 03:00 KaraokeMonkeyMachine Meningitis rash?

Will try to keep this brief. Caught what I thought was my kid's head cold last week - seemed to be a normal cold, very mucousy. Yesterday morning noticed little red pinpricks around my ankles. Chalked it up to heat rash (l'd taken some hot baths) or irritation from shoes. But today, the red dots are up my calves and across my abdomen. They don't blanch with a glass, so the internet seems to point to meningitis. But I don't have fever or neck stiffness or a headache (took Tylenol cold medicine yesterday but that would have worn off by now). Not sure when one is supposed to seek attention if this rash is the only symptom? Other than the mucousy cold.
I can’t attach a photo here, but I posted one in another thread you can see on my profile.
