It’s been half a year since I was left by my avoidant. I really loved her and wanted us to work out but was never given a chance to talk let alone work things out. I’ve been to therapy, I’ve gone out partying, I’ve been on dates, I’ve talked to other people yet I still miss her and think about her every day. She wasn’t the best girlfriend but I loved her and accepted her and all her flaws. People are happy that we’re no longer together because they saw her as controlling and not my person. But I’m still attached and I still love her. I don’t feel like I’ll ever truly let her go in my heart.
I don’t feel like it’s gotten easier with the time, I feel like I’m just getting used to the heartbreak.

For the most critical first measurement point with Audyssey XT32, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the following: 1. Should the microphone be slightly higher than the headrest so that the top of the microphone is exposed and visible to the surround speakers? 2. Should the microphone be positioned further away from the headrest, or should it simulate my actual head position and remain close to the headrest? 3. What is the minimum recommended distance between each measurement point in my scenario? The reason for these questions is that while playing God of War on my PS5, I noticed something odd. When a character is speaking directly in front of me within about three body lengths, their voice is played through the center channel and surround speakers simultaneously. However, as the distance increases, the dialogue sounds correctly localized to the center channel only. I suspect this issue might be related to the placement of the microphone during my previous Audyssey calibration. For the first measurement point, I followed some advice and positioned the microphone about 30cm away from the backrest. I am going into year 12 in 2025 and I want to make sure I am doing everything that will help me achieve the very best for my last year of high school. I have heard multiple people suggest that getting ahead of your content a week prior to learning it is essential. I really want to get into the habit of this, however I don’t really know how to do it. Afterschool I do homework and revise whatever I learnt in that day (study), and then it’s the end of the day; so I have no time to do anything else. Does anybody have any tips and tricks on how I can be getting ahead of content after school, on the weekends or anytime?

Hi! I’ve been HOH since I was 6 months, it’s genetic in the family. I wear hearingaids full time, but last year I noticed that high-pitched sounds were getting irritating. After an appointment with my audiologist, it was determined that my cochlea was losing its hair cells. Things like whistling, toddler screaming, door squeaking, and shrieking have now started making me disoriented and painful.
Its suspected I have type II incomplete partition, parts of my cochlea are abnormal or underdeveloped. Does anyone have any experiences with this? I’m looking into CI’s and wondering if those have been any help

and I fucking love it. I've always been putting it off as many call it the hardest weapon to ever master, (I personally think Longsword is, I fear the blade..) and it's made me shy away from it. But, after simply sucking it up and attempting to kill with it, it was a good ass choice. I come from the small group of Hunting Horns and Lances, and Charge Blade is the PERFECT combination of the two. The guard points I land give me that boost of lance-like dopamine, and the "complex" inputs almost make me feel at home with my beautifully played notes. This is a wake-up call to anyone leaving that one weapon on delivered, to swallow that fear and dip your parashroom in there. It worked absolutely perfectly for me, and now it's your turn, hunters. And dont forget, fuck you Kushala Daora.
