I started working night shifts as a carer recently for a client that cannot move. While she's asleep I'm allowed to do as I please, as long as I come when she calls and turn her over 2/3 times during the night. My spot is this extremely comfy electric armchair by the foot of her bed, and if that wasn't enough the other night carers in her package sleep during their shift and highly recommend I do so too.
Here's the issue: I am a deep sleeper. I can wake up with alarms, but her soft sleepy voice is not going to do anything. I have been napping for 60-90 mins bit have an alarm set every 15mins so I can check she's ok, then fall promptly back asleep. These moments of consciousness are short, but I am alert during them.
My question is, will this pattern of me any good? and if not, what would be an alternative? I'd be ok with buying equipment if it meant it might help this issue.

When I first started about 3 months ago, I was getting non stop chats. It was almost hard to keep up! I'd have multiple chats going at once. I took about a month off (doing calls every now and then but not serious about it) but now I'm back on almost daily. I still get a decent amount of phone calls but chat is completely dead besides one or two regulars.
Do you know if there's anything, such as consistency, that may affect how high you place amongst the other chat cards? I've seen it claimed that it's random and frequently rotated but I see a lot of the same girls consistently being on the first few pages.
I'm willing to accept that it's just that people don't want to text me, that's completely fine! Just curious though as I'm still getting a lot of calls.

My wife and I are considering a Christmas trip to Bermuda and after reading through a bunch of posts and comments, I wanted to double-check a few things/gain some insight from you lovely folks. Apologies in advance if any of these thoughts/questions are misinformed.
To start, we were between The Rosewood and The Loren and while it seems Rosewood is much more expansive, the rooms seem much larger at Loren. Also, the food prices at Rosewood seem pretty astronomical whereas Loren felt more on par with NYC (where I currently live). So I feel pretty good going for the Loren especially considering the rooms are cheaper too.
What I can't tell is if we stay at the Loren are we relegating ourselves to an isolated staycation? Don't get me wrong, I love some downtime, but I have some wonderful, childhood memories exploring Bermuda with my late Father and I'd love to bike (railway trail), maybe cruise around in a twizzy, check out horseshoe bay (I know it will be too cold to swim, but I don't mind) etc.
From what I've researched, it seems cabs are very expensive and while Loren does seem to rent out Twizzy's on their site, it also seems to show cars are only available at the Hamilton Princess location.
It seems like the Loren hotel might be kind of isolated and staying there is a potential roadmap to spending a ton on cabs if we want to sightsee?
Also, would y'all generally recommend against a Christmas visit? Too cold? Or not too crowded and perfectly comfortable?
Any insight would be immensely appreciated and if any of you ever made your way to NYC - I promise to return the favor!

I’m about to build my PC, and in my country, the 215 costs ~82 USD and 216 and 207 both cost ~95 USD (with the cost of extra rear fan of 207 factored in).
I’m confused because, 207 is much newer, has one of the best thermals GN has reviewed, has GPU anti sag and dedicated coolers for GPU and the drawback being PSU limitations and cable management.
The 215 is cheaper, roomy and still has great thermals, only downside being the dust management.
Not considering cases outside of these three

Hey guys. I recently started a bookkeeping business (have 1 client so far), and I my goal is to scale it up as big as possible. I have a BBA in accounting, bilingual, and good experience in bookkeeping and taxes.
What is your best piece of advice for someone who is starting this from the ground? (No clients, no website, nothing at all just a laptop and a full-time accounting job that I want to quit)
How did you get your first clients? How would you get more clients if you are online based (no office yet)?
Is there a way to "buy" clients from other bookkeepers or CPAs?
