I love the game but I do have some mild complaints.

1: The Team Deathmatch modes limit parts of each characters kit. Team Arena (The literal first mode everyone plays btw) has literally nothing but the characters passive and the Team Deathmatch mode has only the active and tactical but no ultimate. Character upgrades are also absent from both modes. It honestly gives a weak first impression and while I obviously played more and unlocked more modes I wouldn't be suprised if someone quit after one match because they thought the game was boring with only passive abilities.
2: The default character selection seriously lacks variety. Of the 7 characters unlocked by default: 4 use assault rifles, 2 use Marksman Rifles, and 1 uses an LMG. No snipers, no shotguns, and no SMGs. To give credit where it's due, there's at least one of every role available from the start. But with new players having access to exclusively mid-range characters it makes certain maps painfully one-sided when one team has a Sniper or a burst damage character and the other doesn't.
3: The game has way too many loot boxes for no reason. Premium currency from a twitch drop? Lootbox of different amounts of currency. Want to buy gacha tickets? Lootbox that gives a random amount of tickets. Weekly lucky boxes, Dimensional Gift Boxes. So many different lootboxes that nobody wants. I get that the Venn diagram between weebs and gambling addicts is a circle but this is ridiculous.
4: Speaking of gambling, the gacha is really bad. Don't get me wrong I am genuinely glad that they didn't lock characters behind gacha and instead only have skins, and I understand that the skin gachas are naturally more expensive than character gachas; but my god it costs so much. A single guaranteed legendary skin costs up to $133 USD. Meaning the full set costs $266 USD. All that for a single full skin for a single character! The game seems to give free gacha tickets occasionally but I do mean occasionally. Maybe it's too early to tell the average rate of aquirring tickets but it feels very slow.
5: The Dormitory only has one character available. Why tho. There's over a dozen characters and only one of them is available in the dormatory.

Playing Overwatch ranked in Platinum feels bad and frustrating. I constantly get screamed at during games, and after a while, I end up talking back. Platinum seems so much more toxic than Gold, Silver, or Bronze. I had to make my profile private because people kept looking up my past ranks and saying things like, "You were Silver five seasons ago no wonder we’re losing." I just want a game where everyone gets along. I hate voice chat because it’s either completely silent or unbearably toxic. This is the reason I’m quitting and waiting until next season to see if the game gets less toxic during that time. I also want to take a break to calm down and reset form playing overwatch ranked. Honestly, I even find League of Legends to be less toxic at times

2024.11.25 05:20 crashhhyears Constant mild cramping in third trimester for 24 hr?
I am 32 weeks and 3 days. Last night, I started to feel a mild cramp as I went to bed. Could feel it only if I moved. This morning, it was still there and it’s lasted all day. The cramp seems slightly stronger and is now tonight starting to ache even without moving. They are located on both sides of the lower abdomen. On a scale of 1-10, it’s a 1 when not moving, 2 when moving or when it’s acting up when I’m not moving.
My OB says this is normal, I have an appt tmrw so we will see upon examination if there’s anything to be concerned about. Just wondering if anyone else has had this? I typically read cramping is ok as long as it goes away but it hasn’t gone away. It’s located in the same spot as it began 24 hr ago. Baby still active and moving as normal. No bleeding or any other unusual symptoms. My BP when I measured was slightly higher yesterday at 117/75 (usual it’s like 100/70) but today it’s back to around 100/70. That’s the only slight difference

I’m curious to hear opinions on my situation.
I’m a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding. We’ve been friends for 10+ years, we basically grew up together. We’ve always had a good friendship.
A few weeks ago, I asked her if I had a plus one to her wedding. She told me she was limiting plus ones to engaged/married couples, which I am not. However, I recently attended her bachelorette trip, where I heard another bridesmaid mention her boyfriend was invited. The bride knew I heard it and made a point to say that it wasn’t personal (towards my boyfriend), but that they were limiting plus ones to partners both bride and groom have met. Her fiancé does not live near me and there has never been an opportunity for our partners to meet. I immediately felt singled out, embarrassed, and confused.
Now I just feel hurt. I am in a serious relationship with my long-term boyfriend, so I wouldn’t be bringing some random tinder date to the wedding. I think every bridesmaid has a plus one except me. I’m not really close with anyone else in the bridal party and now I’m worried that I’ll be spending the whole reception alone. Am I wrong to feel slighted by this?
She’s also my first friend to get married so I just don’t know what is normal here.

I’ll just share one last random info about myself: Recently I found out that one of my friends had a crush on me in college and I totally didn’t picked that up. There was even a bet of how long will it take for me to realize and the answer turns out to be never lmao. On hindsight it was indeed quite obvious…I hate myself for it because she’s really hot. Point of this sharing is that if I offended you in anyway or said anything weird, that’s only because I’m not great at social norms.

Hello, I’m just going to be upfront and say that I’ve wanted to get my license for years, and I’ve tried everything in my power to make it happen. But at this point, I feel like I can’t do it anymore. I have my permit and have completed my driving school, but my parents have never been willing to teach me—at all. I need 60 hours of practice, but I don’t have any friends or family who can help, and driving lessons are so expensive. Honestly, I’ve just about given up.
I’ve always wanted my license for the freedom it would bring, and now, while I’m in college, it’s especially frustrating not to have it. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!
