Hi everyone! Don't know if this is the right sub for this, but I'm desperate. I'm coming to Cork in January as part of the Erasmus exchange program to study at UCC for the spring semester. I've been searching for a room to rent for 3 MONTHS. I've written to over 40 different people, which are offering their rooms at studentpad. 1 of them. ONE SINGULAR PERSON has answered me. All the others have left me on read for MONTHS. Not even written that the room is let to someone else. Nothing. The one person that answered me has now run into some personal troubles and isn't able to rent the room to me. I'm panicking because it's only a few weeks until I will arrive in Cork and I'm back at square one. Does somebody know someone who is letting rooms to international single semester students?

Wife and I were watching a movie last night and in the middle of the movie she decided to take a shower. After about 15/20min I go to check on her and she’s taking a bath. I ask if everything was ok and she gives me a stern “yeah why”. I said because, you said you were going to take a quick shower and I was waiting for you to come back so we can finishing watching the move. “Yeah so, I changed my mind” is what she replied, so I say why the attitude and she gets upset with me. Am I wrong? I thought she would at least give me the courtesy of letting me know she’s taking a bath which takes much longer than a shower.

So back on Thursday I noticed what I thought was a nasty pimple or ingrown hair on my arm on the inner bicep so I popped it. A ton of fluid kept draining from it and eventually I just washed it and put a paper towel on it to get any other leaking puss. It's now four days later and what I thought was just a pimple or ingrown hair looks like this. There is pain in the area but that's all. No fever, chills, aches, or anything but the spot is still very tender and a constant pain of maybe 4/10?
A couple days ago I just brushed it off as a spider bite but I'm just a little concerned it could be something worse like MRSA or Staph. Does anyone have any idea if it's just a bite or something worse? Should I just keep washing it with alcohol and put neosporin on it?

hello everyone,
I recently replaced my hotend and started getting this issue.
I figured the new hotend is faulty so I bought a full extruder kit and replaced on my printer
and still the same issue, when I turn the printer on all I get is "Nozzle is too highreture"
I tried short-circuiting the temperature read port and still no change.
so before I'm replacing my board, I would love to get any ideas from the pros

2024.11.25 10:40 Altruistic_Age_8289 3 Weeks Away. What to do? (M20);(F20)
I'll try to keep this brief. I met up with this girl on Sunday at ***, and we ended up being a great match, the date lasted 6 hours and I only left because it was getting wayy too late. We described our goals, ideals, etc, and that we would take it slow. Which is my personal goal.
Anyway. She has gone away for a few weeks to work in the country and I don't know what to do about it. We currently plan to call every Saturday and text during the week. But I:
- Don't want to seem too desperate, despite the fact she replies almost instantly and mentions that "I'm available for you anytime" (in a joking way).
- Don't want to bore eachother.
- Don't want to learn too much over text.
Idk what else to say. But we seem very compatable, and I don't want this to make an impact. I do hope that distance makes the heart grow fonder or whatever the saying is.

Clean install of the latest bazzite on ROG Ally, but Bluetooth doesn't work at all. I couldn't find any detail on this in the official documentation, so asking in here. Is this expected, known bug? Or is it just an issue of mine? Is there a workaround?
Bazzite fedora 41, KDE Dual booted with Windows on same drive Bluetooth works fine on Windows

This is the first deck I've ever tried to put together myself and actually make decisions for, I've always just played with pre-cons and slightly upgraded them in the past. I've tried to put something that seems sensible together, looking at similar decks, cards with synergy to the commander, and something that will make the deck viable.

Can I run earlier SPARC versions on the Blade 1000? I was thinking of 4.1.3 (yes, that old) - failing that I have a Blade 150 as well, would that be compatible?
I know officially Solaris 8 etc.
Also Sun website shows the 1000 compatible with 11 express.... yet I thought 10 was the limit?

I found a 100 pcs box of panzi puppy multivitamin ripped to shreds, they are supposed to eat 4 pcs each a day according to their weight, but we normally just give 1-2 every day or every other day, because 4 seems like a lot. The box wasn't completly full, but i think there were at least 60-80 tablets, so still much more than they were supposed to eat. Also i don't know wether one of them ate more or they ate equal amount. For now they look okay, behave normally. It is a six months old greyhound and 6 months old pointer, both around 20 kgs. Can their body flush out the excess vitamins, or should i try to induce vomiting somehow?
