Hello everyone,
i hope to get some help here. I have 2 Ford Explorer U2 from 1999 (i dont know wether EU or US Version) and i want to attend to this event in january 2025: https://www.carbagerun.de/event/winter-edition-2025-nach-helsinki/
Now to my problem:
Ford Explorer 1 works splendidly and the engine runs smoothly. However, the frame is so rusty that the car cannot be registered.
Ford Explorer 2 has no rust and is in a better general condition. Registration would not be a problem, but the remote control to deactivate the immobilizer is missing. The car can therefore not be started.
What have I done so far?
- I have contacted Ford Germany. Here I was passed from workshop to workshop and finally referred to the parts store. A remote control is potentially available there, but they couldn't tell me who could program it.
- I have tried the usual tips on the Internet without success (leaving the ignition on for 30 minutes, switching it on and off several times, etc.).
- I have contacted a specialist workshop in Frankfurt that deals exclusively with Ford Explorer - but unfortunately they have not got back to me at the moment and there is not much time left until January.
Hence my question:
Does anyone have any tips on how to deactivate the immobilizer?
Does anyone have instructions on how I can possibly convert the immobilizer components from Explorer 1 to Explorer 2?
Does anyone know of another specialist workshop that can fix this problem?
I would be grateful for any tips / solutions.

It's like my spirit is darkened and my heart has become hardened. I'm afraid that I can no longer hear the Holy Spirit's voice or feel his presence because he withdrew from me because of my sin. I feel very very far from God. I pray but the confusion about whether I heard God or my own mind is so problematic and frustrating that I do not know what to do, it feels hopeless. I go to confession every week, but I still struggle with habitual sin. But even when I try to be good, I don't feel reconciled to God. I've made a total trainwreck of my life, I want to turn it around desperately with the help of God, but even when I try to connect with God, I don't experience closeness to God. I feel like a sinful and bad person because of my earlier life. I would do anything to get the closeness with God again, but a part of me fears what the outcome will be for my darkened spirit and hardened heart. It's like there is no light in my soul and I fear it will only keep getting darker. I probably have depression in the eyes of a psychiatrist but I theorize this condition has been caused by the state of my soul. I feel like I am drowning in darkness and I cannot hear God. I kindly request prayer and advice.

I need some advice on whether it's safe to invest in MP2. If I invest P500k as a one-time payment and leave it there for the next five years, would that be a good move?
