2024.11.25 13:19 S7R1DR [Help needed] Fan control on headless linux server
I just got myself an Intel Arc A380 for my home server that's going to be run a media server, self-hosted cloud store, etc. I am running the latest Debian (but I am open to switching distros, if justified).
My problem is that the GPU fans drive me nuts, as they keep spinning up and down constantly. I've observed that they speed up when the GPU temps exceed 30°C, and go down once it is lower. My idle temps are between 28-31°C.
I would like to set up a custom curve (or at least some temperature points and values) via a terminal. I've read up on multiple threads and saw that there are solutions available for NVIDIA or AMD GPUs, but haven't found anything close to a solution on Intel. Does anyone know about anything that might help me? Thank you in advance.

Last weekend I went to an event and I ended up getting extremely drunk at early time, I didn’t throw up but was rolling around on the floor and my friend had to take care of me as well as drive me back.
Obviously he is pissed off at me, every time him or his mate tried to help me I tried to run off, kill myself or lightly fight him for some reason. Every time him or his mate tried to help me I told them they were taking the piss out of me, None of this I remember. I have since apologised to him both.
I have a bad track record with alcohol and I don’t usually drink what steps can I take to avoiding alcohol all together and putting myself on the correct track. Furthermore this doesn’t help by the fact I have poor mental health and once I stop drinking I can’t stop myself. Usually I am a placid/ chilled person without drinking but once I start I can’t stop and I tend to act crazy.

Hello,
At this point in the game, we have been playing for two months, but there are important contents missing.
1- It's not uncommon to have multiple builds and weapons now (I have four), but it takes a long time to change my skills. Why? Due to our limited skill pages, three pages are not sufficient for games that involve PVE, PVP on small and large scales, and Arena.
2- Game after last patch it is too easy to reach end game but you will finish end game in two or three days, after that there is nothing to do, world bosses are useless now, t1 dungeon is useless now, only pvp and it is time gated pvp and arena doesn't have many modes, only 3v3 this is boring.
More skill pages and PK need to be added, or more PvP modes need to be added, or we should be given all of the Korean content at once.

If any of yall have worn an air cast brand boot you have a liner that looks like a white sock. Cut to length and wear over your shrinker on those brisk mornings or cold days! I have a surplus of them from over the years of having to wear the boot. I would go on eBay and order a 12 pack for $10 and that way I didn’t have to wear the same one each day. Not sure what they sell for now but definitely worth looking into if like me you’re waiting for a prosthetic and like being outside but our stumps don’t like the cold!
