2024.11.25 14:24 suddenly_panicked Paid a flooring contractor and got this. Am I overreacting?
Hi all, I recently had flooring done and have many questionable areas that I'm not sure of. Should I be making a stink about this? Also, one area pictured has already been redone after I discovered they left a nail in the floor under it and it popped through the day of install. The pics you see are as it sits now, and the flooring contractor says it's a good install. There's many other areas that look bad (horribly miteted corners, small scuffs on the floor, added quarter round is not fully nailed to existing baseboards, etc). Should I be asking for these to be fixed, or is this a "good enough" install?

2024.11.25 14:24 Specialist_Mousse561 OMG, for the 6th time I've been kicked out of my employer's workspace. Help please.
As the title says, I keep getting automatically kicked out from my employers workspace whenever I go up to "workspace" and then click on [employer workspace] it then says "you no longer have access to this workspace". It's not them kicking me out, they've had to add me back 6 times in the past 2 days. Idk if it's an extension I have on my computer or a problem with Notion, but this is incredibly annoying. I need to access the workspace since the work I do for my job are all in there (they like to use Notion a lot). Please help! How do I fix this problem?

Bought a house (primary and only residence) and want to sell it within one year of purchase. Do not meet any of the exceptions to avoid paying capital gains/business expenses.
What counts towards costs of the home to go against any 'profit' on the sale price?
For example, if I bought at 500k and sold at 550k, but paid 50,000 in realtor fees, legal fees, home improvements such as a new kitchen, interest on the mortgage payments, etc - what counts towards the final cost to be able to not have to pay capital gains/business profits on it?

Extra-curricular - Have worked with NGOs and helped secure funding for them. Have trained female students in DSA.
Which unis should I aim for? Would I even be able to aim for unis like UMass/GeorgiaTech?

Hello! I'm new to reddit ^^ I've been trying to make friends for a while now, but I haven't been very successful, so I decided to make an account on reddit to try turning my luck around!
I go by Mushie on the internet! As I said on the title, I'm 22 years old, and I'm male. I'm very emotional, and I tend to emphatize a lot with people! Because of that, people tend to say I'm a little feminine, but I'm okay with that ^^ This post is long because I don't know how to shorten messages of any kind, unless you're okay with that, please ignore me!
I'm not picky about age and gender, all I ask is that you're mature! I'd gladly get along with you if you are ^^
I like to play video games a lot, but my main focus is doing research and expanding my knowledge on all kinds of things! I especially love learning how the human mind works ^^ Ideally, I'd love to get along with someone just as motivated to learn something new as I am! Having healthy debates with other people is my cup of coffee!
Speaking of coffee, I'm quite a fan of coffee! I haven't really tried many kinds of it, and I tend to just stick to the not-so-yummy coffee pods sold at grocery stores. But nonetheless, I'd like to try new kinds of coffee! Although I have no idea where or how to start ;-;
On a more serious note, I struggle with my mental health, I don't know what I'm diagnosed with other than depression and anxiety, probably because I never finish the diagnosis tests and always refuse to attend any appointments focused on figuring out my diagnosis. On that note, I'd prefer it if judgemental people didn't talk to me! I personally don't care too much if I'm judged by strangers, but I tend to be quite mean to people who aren't nice to me :P
I mentioned above that I'm emotional and very sensitive to other people's feelings. This possibly due to struggling with depression! But I like being sensitive, it's part of my personality and it's not something I'm willing to let go of. Because of my empathetic nature, I care a lot about other people! Even if they're complete strangers, if they're suffering, I will suffer with them too. Of course, the fact that I'm sensitive doesn't mean that I get uncomfortable easily, it's actually very hard to make me uncomfortable on the internet ^^
